What do we expect from you?
Reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage, the Executive Chef’s primary responsibility is to ensure a high-quality food product by supervising all Chefs and culinary team in all phases of food production.
Objectives/ Accountabilities:
- Comply at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Lead an outstanding culinary team in a high volume, luxury hotel
- Be innovative, detailed oriented, quality conscious and aware of new trends in presentation and preparation
- Develop and prepare new signature items for the Hotel and/or special functions
- Effectively plan and develop menus for the hotel considering factors such as product availability, food and service cost, marketing conditions and business volume; assign prices for daily menus that result in net profit; participate in making decisions regarding printing, layout, posting, and distribution of menus while ensuring the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration
- Executive Steward reports to this role
- Works in strict collaboration with the Executive Steward in order to uphold the cleanliness and the hygiene necessary in the kitchen
- Supervise Chefs in all phases of the food production function ensuring adequate operations in all outlets (i.e. plate presentation, food portion size, visual appeal, taste, and temperature)
- Oversee daily activities such as preparation for all food items, sanitation of the outlets, receiving daily inventories, log on report, and food cost report
- Review and approve weekly payroll
- Support environmental initiatives by, when possible, seeking organic food options
- Attend F&B meetings, Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings, schedule and conduct monthly department meetings
- Communicate to engineering any physical maintenance problems

- Ensure the department operation budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled (i.e. labor costs, food costs, expenses, etc.)

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous leadership experience in the Culinary field required
- Journeyman’s papers or international equivalent preferred
- Diploma Certification in a Culinary discipline preferred
- Complete knowledge of classical, contemporary and international cuisine
- Technical knowledge in banquet food production and presentation
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable

Calling on hospitals, VAs and outpatient rehabilitation institutions (PT/OT) daily within a defined sales territory to achieve budgeted sales volume and growth targets. Increase market share by identifying and securing new business within territory.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Consults with customer (Directors of Rehab or Nursing, Safe Patient handling and Fall Prevention committee leaders, ER Manager, Materials Management, and Supply Chain leaders) to educate on Performance Health's curated portfolio of products
- Build relationships with customers that allow for expanded market share by consistently visiting and meeting with customers in person
- Aggressively prospect new accounts and customers within assigned territory to grow territory year over year
- Accelerates growth of assigned territory through strategic prospecting, cross-selling, and new customer acquisition
- Provides trials and in-service of products to current and new customers
- Develops and adjusts territory plan by gathering and evaluating all relevant insights about the customer base within the territory
- Territory management to include leveraging CRM analytics and territory insights to identify high-potential prospects, track competitive activity, and prioritize winning new business
- Supplies necessary information to operate the overall business effectively by completing all required reports accurately, completely and in a timely fashion
- Serve as a trusted advisor by projecting integrity, professionalism, and credibility in every customer interaction
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in business to business medical sales
- Proven track record in sales and shown ability to win the sale and grow market share
- Experience growing a curated portfolio of products and offerings to customers
- Previous experience in the Medical and/or Rehabilitation industry
- Understanding of GPOs and IDN knowledge strongly preferred
- Knowledge and previous use of customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Daily travel within territory required; some overnight travel required depending on assigned territory

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for working with physicians, care managers, and other clinical staff, as part of a medical care team focusing on patient outcomes, while maintaining cost. The clinical pharmacist provides patients and providers with therapeutic assessments and selected disease management, for assigned practices, working towards improving patient and practice outcomes. The clinical pharmacist also performs other duties consistent with the job classification as required.

GENERAL DUTIES
Patient Care Activities:
Directs and initiates development, implementation and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services. Provides clinical consultation to the Medical Staff and other health care providers within the appropriate team or unit(s), suggests appropriate cost-effective therapeutic alternatives as needed. Communicates and documents all activities/interventions (i.e., medication order changes/clarifications with the prescriber, pharmacokinetic dosing/monitoring, adverse drug reactions and errors etc). Fosters teamwork and takes responsibility to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care. Performs staff duties as needed.
Collaboration and Education of Health Care Providers:
Collaborates with all health care providers to ensure timely resolution of concerns and questions. Provides ongoing education and timely drug information to physicians, nursing, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals by developing educational materials and competencies and providing in-services as needed.
Development of Clinical Guidelines and Protocols:
Facilitates the development and implementation of treatment guidelines, pathways, protocols, formulary changes, medication use evaluations, and any other appropriate drug information reports as approved by the appropriate committee(s).
Committee Membership and Awareness of Regulatory Standards:
Actively participates on clinical committees including pharmacy and therapeutics committee and other appointed committees as needed. Acts as a liaison to other healthcare practitioners. Fosters a good working relationship with physicians, medical staff, nursing, and other healthcare professionals. Demonstrates awareness and understanding of documenting information in the medical record, JCAHO and CMS standards, and State Board of Pharmacy requirements. Demonstrates awareness and understanding of departmental and hospital policies, and health-system initiatives.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Combination of appropriate education and work experience is required:
Pharm.D. Degree with 2 years of experience in inpatient pharmacy hospital/clinical capacity or completion of Pharmacy Residency.
Preferred: PGY2 in solid organ transplant or 3+ years of transplant pharmacy experience
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Currently licensed or registered to practice pharmacy in Louisiana;
Board Certification in applicable specialty area preferred.
