Interventional Radiologist
The University of Virginia (UVA) Community Health Radiology Department is seeking a BC/BE Fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic Interventional Radiology (IR) team in the growing Northern Virginia area. The University of Virginia Health System has significant infrastructure and a collaborative atmosphere that will support the candidate's professional pursuits. Relocation assistance provided
Ability to maintain diagnostic radiology skills
~ Cover Prince William Medical Center, Haymarket Medical Center, and Culpeper Medical Center
~ 8-10 clinic patient visits per day when scheduled in the outpatient IR clinic with an opportunity to grow your patient panel
~ Average Image-guided procedural volumes in the hospital is 8-12 patients per day

Onsite Equipment and Services :

~ 64-slice CT scanners
~ Integrated EPIC EMR and Carestream PACS at the 3 hospitals and with UVA
~ Hi-IQ for IR quality metrics, inventory control, and scheduling
~ Vein ablation technology in the outpatient clinic
