Qualifications You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records; OR Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education.

You qualify for the GL-7 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One year of specialized work experience that shows you have the skills necessary to: Make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.
Deal effectively with people in a courteous and tactful manner in connection with law enforcement matters.
Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions where you will be expected to make arrests after the completion of required training and apply these skills in a law enforcement capacity such as criminal code enforcement, determining violations of laws, correctional or rehabilitation work involving criminal offenders, security, military, etc.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership.
Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement.

Position Description:
The Operations & Engagement Coordinator provides support for a boutique health policy consulting firm, with an emphasis on providing policy, business strategy, and engagement solutions to clients including some of the country’s top health plans, provider organizations, industry coalitions, and innovators. The Operations & Engagement Coordinator will specifically support daily one of the firms’ partner clients, the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI), the national organization representing not-for-profit hospice programs across the nation supports. The Operations & Engagement Coordinator directly supports NPHI’s senior leadership team and other leaders as directed. The ability to multitask, stay organized and thrive in a fast-paced work environment are core requirements of the position. This position is full-time and reports to the NPHI Vice President of Member Engagement & Programs. The NPHI office is located in Washington, D.C., and the position can be primarily remote with approval and strong results. The role includes occasional travel.
Compensation:

Key responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree and 2-3+ years of executive support, program coordination, or operations experience (association, health policy, healthcare, nonprofit, or consulting preferred).

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nations economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
- Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
- Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
- Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.

Qualifications:
GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
- Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
- Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
- Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:
- Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
- Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.

Description
The Intel Sector is currently looking experienced Spanish/Chinese Triage Examiners in various languages to perform media exploitation (MEDEX) and triage in support a customer in the National Capital Region (NCR). Triage Examiners should be experienced in general linguist operations and Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) operations, and are expected to leverage language and analytical skills, as well as advanced computer systems aptitude in addressing triage examination projects. Triage Examiners will perform eDiscovery examinations of electronic media for content of interest using a suite of forensic examination tools and will identify and prioritize items of importance for further processing, in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. Examiners will also be expected to communicate effectively and provide ad-hoc notification to superiors on task progress and significant findings, and to produce a report of their findings for further dissemination to customer(s).

The primary responsibilities of the Triage Examiners are:
- Perform data discovery on large datasets of foreign language material and identify essential elements of information.

MedStar Health Washington Hospital Center is seeking a patient-focused, committed Nurse Navigator to join our Surgical Orthopedic Team! As part of the Division of Nursing's (DON), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of patient care!
Position Overview
The Nurse Navigator is responsible for the coordination of patient care across the continuum within the scope of nursing practice. The navigator educates/provides information and supports patients to guide and facilitate understanding of treatment plans. The Nurse Navigator oversees, directs, and provides holistic, culturally competent, and evidence-based nursing care. The Nurse Navigator is recognized as a professional role model and clinical expert and promotes a professional environment that supports nursing excellence and collaborative shared decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Works with an interdisciplinary team throughout the continuum of care to develop and manage the plan of care for the patient. Provides initial and continuing education related to specific disease process, associated treatment modality, and agreed plan of care for patient and family. Acts as a liaison between patients, families, the health care team, community resources and other facilities to coordinate the provision of care. Able to work as a part of an interdisciplinary team through open, frequent, and skilled verbal and written communication. Must be flexible, demonstrate problem solving skills, proactively prioritize and demonstrates healthy coping mechanisms.

Qualifications
Associate’s degree in nursing required bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. For candidates hired with an associate degree, employment with MedStar Washington Hospital Center is contingent upon enrollment into an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of employment and continuing matriculation in the program to achieve a BSN within 5 years of the program start date. Proof of enrollment to be submitted to Nurse Leader.
Active DC RN License
Three or more years of progressively more responsible job-related nursing in a specialty area (Orthopedics)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
