  • Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care for cases including Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro (no cardiac)
  • Practice within a medically directed anesthesia care team model (commonly 2:1 or 3:1; may vary by acuity)
  • Perform airway management and invasive monitoring procedures in accordance with patient safety standards
  • Provide anesthesia coverage across OR and NORA locations based on daily operational needs
  • Document pre-op assessment, intra-op management, and post-anesthesia care accurately in the EMR
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, residents, CRNAs, and anesthesia techs to support efficient patient flow

Michelin Louisville is seeking Engineering Co-Op students majoring in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, and Electrical Engineering to join the team at our plant in Louisville, KY.

In our petrochemical facility we produce synthetic rubber from monomer feedstocks and catalysts, through a polymerization reaction.

The product, after other operations, is carefully weighed and pressed into uniform bales before shipping to the next Michelin factory for tire production.

Our facility supplies various rubber products that go into tires in the USA, Canada, and in Michelin factories around the world. Our site is one of the three Michelin petrochemical sites producing synthetic rubber for cars, vans, trucks, two-wheelers, aircraft, agricultural tractors, and mining equipment.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Support the Energy and Water Saving (EWS) Project. This role will contribute to sustainability initiatives by assisting in data analysis, project coordination, and technical research aimed at improving energy and water efficiency across operations.

  • Gain hands-on experience in sustainability and resource efficiency projects.

  • Exposure to industrial systems and operational improvement strategies.

  • Mentorship from experienced professionals in engineering and project management.

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Collect and analyze energy and water usage data from various systems and facilities.

  • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for conservation.

Job Duties

  • Lead strategic initiatives for identifying, recruiting and hiring diverse talent in a multi-site, international company
  • Manage full cycle recruiting process for all job types within the Company, with heavy emphasis on recruiting and hiring non-exempt skilled workforce
  • Build applicant sources by researching and partnering with community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites and Employee Referral Program
  • Conduct pipeline review meetings with respective hiring managers and Human Resource team
  • Challenge and improve the New Hire Orientation process
  • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local regulations throughout the talent recruitment process

  • Perform special projects and drive overall process improvements within the HR department

Job Requirements

  • 1-5 years experience in recruiting or HR coordinator role in a corporate environment with a strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to Corporate staff is strongly preferred. Experience recruiting individuals to fill Industrial roles is strongly desired. Previous internship experience working in an HR department will also be considered
  • 2 year degree from an accredited college or university, 4 year degree preferred
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team based project experience
  • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment life cycle processes
  • Prefer that candidate has experience running advertisements and sourcing resumes from a variety of sources including referrals, college campuses, web advertising, social media, and print
  • Strong vendor management skills related to recruitment activities such as search firms and job boards
  • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite and in depth knowledge of data mining and internet research as well as previous experience using an Applicant Tracking and HRIS system
  • This candidate will be working in the Corporate Office in Louisville, KY
