Our client in Texas is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 5-day assignment starting May 10, 2026. This role involves working 24-hour ER shifts, providing comprehensive emergency medicine care at a trauma facility, and managing a diverse caseload of family medicine cases, including gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatric care for patients from newborns through adolescence.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medicine care at a Trauma facility.
- Manage a diverse caseload encompassing both emergency medicine and family medicine.
- See 25-30 patients per shift in an Emergency Department.
- Utilize 24-hour support services including Anesthesia, Laboratory, and Radiology.
- Perform well woman care, prenatal care, and vaginal deliveries.
- Provide comprehensive care for newborns, infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents.
- Conduct newborn resuscitation and general outpatient care.

Our client in Texas is actively seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Critical Care Medicine for a 24-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves a 1.5 FTE schedule covering a Peds CICU, with typical shifts Monday-Friday 7 AM to 8 PM and weekends 8 AM to 9 PM. You will manage congenital and acquired heart disease patients, including those requiring heart transplant management and ventricular assist device placement.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 1.5 FTE coverage in a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).
- Manage patients with congenital and acquired heart disease in both pre and post-operative periods.
- Oversee medical management for a diverse patient population within a CICU and step-down acute care cardiology unit.
- Care for patients referred for heart failure management, including ventricular assist device placement and heart transplantation.
Additional Information
- Board Certifications required in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
- Experience with Epic EMR system.
- Typical shifts are Monday-Friday 7 AM to 8 PM, with weekend shifts from 8 AM to 9 PM.

Case types include general surgery, bariatric, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, ENT and GI procedures with minimal vascular cases and no cardiac or neurosurgery procedures. Board certification is required and the clinician will have cross-credentialing privileges at Medical City North Hills, Medical City Alliance, MCA SC, and Calloway Creek SC. Optional pediatric cases including dental, ENT, and ophthalmology procedures are available for those interested in pediatric care.
