Position Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for leading complex precision optics programs from initial pursuit through contract award program execution, and delivery. This role owns cost, schedule, and technical coordination across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers. In a small-business environment, the Program Manager is hands-on, highly cross-functional, and directly engaged in both strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full program lifecycle for large precision optics projects.
- Serve as primary customer point of contact for program execution, milestones, and deliverables.
- Develop and manage program schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including opto-mechanical engineering, manufacturing, metrology, quality, and supply chain.

Required Qualifications

A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression from GL-9 to GS-11 to GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in the lower grade level.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
- Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
- Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
- Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.
- Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.
Qualifications:
GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
- Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
- Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
- Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:
- Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
- Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
- Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.
Other Requirements:
Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.
Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (including protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.
Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Candidates must be referred for selection to the Border Patrol Agent position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03. The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).
Veterans' Preference: You may also be eligible for an excepted service Veterans' Recruitment Appointment (VRA). The age restriction does not apply if you are Veterans' Preference eligible.
Formal Training: After you are hired, you will be detailed to the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement, and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses. Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient in the Spanish language at the Academy.

About This Opportunity:
Adaptec Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex industrial automation and material handling projects from concept through commissioning. In this high‐impact, high‐visibility role, you will serve as the primary customer contact and guide cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to defined scope and quality expectations.
You will manage a project portfolio of approximately $2M–$5M, influence PMO practices, strengthen customer relationships, and support the continued growth of Adaptec's project management organization.
What You'll Do:
- Lead all phases of project execution from kickoff through final acceptance.
- Coordinate all project activities from receipt of customer order through completion, ensuring alignment across engineering, build, installation, and integration teams.
- Apply strong financial oversight to maintain positive cash flow, track costs, and meet critical deadlines.
- Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, cash flow, and milestone reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and track project schedules using Wrike (or other scheduling tools).
- Develop detailed project schedules inclusive of in-scope engineering, build, installation, and integration activities, including relevant external milestones.
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact; coordinate internal and external meetings.
- Oversee internal and external resources to ensure delivery of scope and project outcomes.
- Administer contracts, manage risk, and execute change management processes.
- Prepare and provide Project Change Orders (PCOs) related to scope or schedule changes.
- Use data‐driven decision-making and reporting tools to maintain project schedule, budget, and scope.
- Develop and execute equipment commissioning, process commissioning, and integration test plans.
- Travel to customer sites for kickoff, installation kick off, and acceptance testing (~30%).
What You Bring:
- 7+ years managing large-scale industrial automation, material handling, or construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of experience and certifications (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum) considered.
- Experience managing 10+ projects with a combined portfolio of $2M+.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial control, risk management, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Strong understanding of automation systems, integration, commissioning, and supplier relationships.
- Experience with labor/material tracking tools like Wrike, Smartsheet, or ERP systems.
- Ability to develop dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven reporting for project performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities with a focus on financial outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Advanced problem‐solving and decision‐making capabilities with a forward‐thinking, proactive approach.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the wage range for this role is $120,000 – 150,000/yr. The rate range provided is a general guideline. A Monroe, NY based organization is seeking a dependable, experienced, and safety-focused Corporate Driver to provide dedicated transportation support for senior leadership. This full-time, live-out role supports a fast-paced executive environment where professionalism, discretion, and a strong security-minded presence are essential. The primary responsibility of this role is corporate transportation — including daily travel to business meetings, offices, airports, and corporate events within the Tri-State area. Occasional personal driving support for principals may be required as schedules dictate. This is a full-time, year-round role consisting of a Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role for a private family, a verified security background, and a clean driving record. Candidates must possess advanced defensive driving skills, along with a strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and a commitment to passenger safety. The role requires someone who is adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safely and efficiently transport executives to meetings, offices, airports, and events throughout the Tri-State area
- Conduct advance route planning and monitor traffic, weather, and security considerations to ensure timely and secure arrivals
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive schedules, business discussions, and proprietary information
- Demonstrate continuous situational awareness and prioritize passenger safety at all times
- Coordinate closely with executive assistants and administrative staff to manage evolving calendars
- Maintain vehicles in pristine, executive-ready condition at all times
- Track and maintain up-to-date records for insurance, registration, inspections, and service history
- Provide occasional personal driving support for principals as requested
- Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle when appropriate
- Perform additional driving-related duties as needed
Requirements:
- Strong command of English language; outstanding writing and verbal skills
- Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a corporate or executive driver
- Proven experience supporting senior leadership or high-level executives
- Verified security background; experience in protective services, law enforcement, military, or corporate security environments REQUIRED
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record - zero points
- CDL with Passenger Endorsement a plus, but not required
- Advanced defensive driving skills and strong knowledge of Tri-State traffic patterns
- Polished, professional demeanor with exceptional discretion and judgment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Outlook, iPhone, GPS navigation systems, and related technology

About the Role
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Verifying patients' identity and reviewing physicians’ orders before beginning x-ray procedures.
- Using x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians’ written orders.
- Explaining x-ray procedures to patients and answering their questions.
- Positioning patients accordingly, which may include lifting and moving patients with limited mobility.
- Handles all radiologic equipment safely and properly keeping dose to patient as low as possible.
- Observe each patient’s status and interprets the appropriate information needed to meet his or her age-specific needs.
- Produces a diagnostic, high quality image for interpretation by the Radiologist.
- Promptly notifying management of damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment.
- Utilizes electronic patient information systems to verify patient name, date, appropriate exam, and any special exam specific comments from the provider. Understands and practices the Dual patient identifier procedure.
- Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly.
Qualifications
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- NYS license (or able to obtain license prior to starting).
- 2 years of X-ray Technologist experience.
- Level 1 trauma center experience.
- Ability to move or lift patients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
