Work Environment
Information Professionals serve in challenging roles of increasing scope and responsibility both afloat and ashore. This could include:
- Serving as part of Battle Group staffs on ships at sea
- Working in C4I/Space/Surveillance on shore tours
- Serving on major Navy and joint staffs
- Serving in command of key communication and surveillance facilities around the globe
Training & Advancement
Those pursuing an Information Professional Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.
Upon completion, candidates typically attend a five-week IP Basic Course of instruction in Pensacola, FL, before or during their initial assignment. IPOs must complete specific qualifications as part of their training during Fleet tours and are expected to pursue advanced education opportunities.
Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Postgraduate education is important to the success of the Information Professional. Most IPs will complete a master's degree in C4I, space, information systems, computer science or modeling and simulation.

Qualifications & Requirements
A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. Candidates seeking an Information Professional Officer position must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a technical field, preferably in one of following fields: Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Operations, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, General Engineering.
All candidates must also be: U.S. citizens, willing to serve worldwide, eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance and qualified for sea duty.
General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you're currently serving, whether you've served before or whether you've never served before.
Part-Time Opportunities
There are part-time opportunities available as an Information Professional Officer.
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Information Professional Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent of that.
Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve serve in an Officer role. Before receiving the ongoing professional training that comes with this job, initial training requirements must first be met.
For current or former Navy Officers (NAVET): Prior experience satisfies the initial leadership training requirement - so you will not need to go through Officer Training again.
Officers who previously held a commission in another United States Military Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Public Health Service, or United States Coast Guard are exempt from attending ODS or LDO/CWO Academy.

The Role

What You’ll Do
- Sell directly into your assigned market, spending ~80% of your time face-to-face with prospective merchants.
- Prospect and generate new business through a mix of tactics:
- Conduct 50–60 weekly drop-ins to restaurants, retailers, and service-based businesses.
- Build referral channels with existing Modisoft customers and strategic local partners.
- Leverage cold calling, cold emailing, and social selling.
- Understand customer business and technology needs to deliver tailored Modisoft solutions.
- Conduct discovery, demos, and onboarding of Modisoft hardware and software solutions.
- Collaborate with onboarding, customer support, and account management to ensure smooth implementation and long-term success for new merchants.
- Represent Modisoft at community events, trade shows, and networking activities to grow brand awareness.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and deal tracking in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM).
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Act as a local ambassador for Modisoft—building trust, credibility, and strong relationships in your community.
- Provide market feedback to Product and Marketing teams to ensure our solutions align with customer needs.
What We’re Looking For
- 1-3+ years of proven success in a full-cycle closing sales role (field sales experience preferred).
- Experience selling technology, SaaS, payments, or business solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.

The on-target earnings (OTE) for this role is more than $80,000.00 (base salary, monthly commission and bonus) and is geared to reward high performers. Of this amount, the typical base pay range for this role is $37,536.00 - $42,000. This pay range represents the base annual full-time salary for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Aircraft Fuel System Technician Removes, repairs, inspects, installs, and modifies aircraft fuel systems including integral fuel tanks, bladder cells, and external tanks. Maintains associated hardware and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs on aircraft fuel systems removal, repair, and installation maintenance procedures and policies.
- Diagnoses fuel system and component malfunctions. Recommends corrective actions and resolves problems using technical publications and analytic techniques.
- Performs maintenance on aircraft fuel tanks and cells.
- Removes access panels, and depuddles, purges, repairs, and tests fuel tanks and cells.
- Performs entry and maintenance in confined spaces.
- Removes, repairs, and replaces malfunctioning components.
- Prepares aircraft surfaces, and applies sealants, adhesives, and associated chemicals.
- Cleans fuel cells and tanks, and inspects for foreign objects, corrosion, cell deterioration, and fungus.
- Initiates deficiency reports, maintenance analysis documents, technical data changes, and equipment records.
- Possess knowledge in the use of and be able to train others in the use of a wide variety of diagnostics devices, computers, hand and mechanical tools.
- Provide oversight and may direct and train others in the completion of aircraft related maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the repair, inspection and maintenance of structural, mechanical and electrical elements of the aircraft.
- Document maintenance as per Quality Assurance (QA) and established regulatory requirements.
- Stores, handles, and disposes of hazardous waste and materials according to environmental standards and company processes.
- Operates and maintains related aircraft Support Equipment (SE).
- Use automated maintenance systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, document maintenance actions, and time change database.
- Perform regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks.
- Maintain strict tool control procedures. Report missing, lost, found, or unattended tools to the supervisor. Inventory and inspect tools on a regular basis and replace worn or broken tools.
- Comply with safety rules and regulations while performing day to day maintenance. Promptly report all accidents, injuries, safety violations, and/or unsafe practices or procedures to supervisor.
- Maintain equipment records. Enter in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verify the work was performed satisfactorily.
- May include Designated System Inspector (DSI) duties.
- The Aircraft Fuel System Technician will be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

- In-depth knowledge of internal hardware such as valves, interconnects, lines, gauges, controls, pumps, and other attachments.
- Strong knowledge of all sealing materials; sheet metal parts; rubber properties and organic sealing compound applications.
- Ability to read and understand all pertinent technical orders and directives as well as the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials.
- Beginner to intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred.
- Must be able to utilize respirator, forced air, or other breathing equipment during the performance of assigned duties.
- Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, technical documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

Spotswood Sansom & Sansbury LLC has an immediate opening in our Birmingham, AL office for a litigation paralegal or project assistant to assist with our defense of a portfolio of personal injury cases, as well as some aspects of our complex litigation portfolio. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
- Manage subpoenas to third parties from inception to the collection and organization of all required materials.
- Interact diplomatically and efficiently with corporate client personnel working collaboratively on the same cases.
- Assist responsible lawyers with their calendar management, docketing, and scheduling responsibilities.
- Communicate extensively with third parties to ensure their fulfilment of obligations to us and our clients.
- Prepare document productions.
- Organize evidentiary materials received in discovery, including elimination of duplicative materials.
- Use artificial intelligence to summarize and analyze documents, or be prepared to learn to use artificial intelligence for these functions.
- Assist in the scheduling of and preparation of materials for depositions.
- Prepare and manage templates of commonly used documents, such as representation agreements and subpoena cover letters.
- Support lawyers in all other aspects of litigation, as needed.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS CORPSMAN: CAREER DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities
Those in the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field go beyond the duties of basic Hospital Corpsman, working in austere and challenging environments while saving lives. Each of the three classifications has its own responsibilities:
Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman (SOIDC)
- Provide advanced medical care and operational services for Marine Reconnaissance, USMC Special Operations Forces and Navy Special Operations Command personnel, like SWCC and SEALs
- Engage as a team member in direct action, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense and unconventional warfare
Search and Rescue Medical Technician (SMT)
- Rescue patients and deliver emergency care from the back of a helicopter
- Perform aircrew duties and En Route Care (ERC) for routine illness and emergent patients
- Provide relief and assistance in areas ravaged by catastrophic natural disasters
- Support Search and Rescue (SAR), tactical evacuation (TECEVAC), Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC), casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) and Combat Search & Rescue (CSAR) for Navy and Marine Corps Aviation
Deep Sea Diving Medical Technician (DMT)
- Provide basic medicine and assist medics in prevention and treatment of diving related illnesses, injuries associated with deep sea diving and hyperbaric conditions
- Operate, test and repair all Navy diving equipment
- Perform underwater inspections, harbor/port/ship security inspections, conduct ordnance searches, rescue personnel, engage in special warfare and small boat operations
- Operate Swimmer Delivery Vehicle Dry-Deck Shelter system and submarine Lock-in/Lock-out systems
Work Environment
As a Hospital Corpsman, you have the most diverse range of work environments in the Navy. Your job will likely take you all over the world-and far out of your comfort zone. If you choose to go the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field route, you will work in extreme and sometimes precarious conditions. From deep-sea diving to combat missions to flying in MH-60 Romeo helicopters, you will train outside the realm of conventional military forces to prepare for any mission. You may work independent of a physician or under supervision in this program.
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training including:
Hospital Corps "A" School (19 weeks) in San Antonio, Texas for training on basic principles and techniques of patient care and first aid procedures.
After "A" School, HM-ATF candidates track to one of three advanced training paths:
- Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman Pipeline (121 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to basic reconnaissance, airborne operations, combatant diving, demolitions, clinical diagnostics, advanced trauma skills, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), basic surgical anesthesia, basic veterinary medicine and basic dental exams. - Search and Rescue Medical Tech Pipeline (27 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to advanced fluid resuscitation, administration and management of Advanced Life Support medications, use of emergency medical equipment, rescue and recovery devices and patient handling. - Medical Deep Sea Diving Tech Pipeline (28 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to diving physics, scuba and surface-supplied air diving, recognition and treatment of diving related illnesses.
After completing your pipeline, you'll receive your first assignment. You'll go wherever you're needed, which can be anywhere in the world. Automatic promotion opportunities are available but are competitive and based on completion of pipeline.
Post-Service Opportunities
There's no better way to begin a successful career in health care than by serving in the medical support division of America's Navy. Specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields in the civilian world, such as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Home Health Aide, Anesthesiologist Assistant and more.
Education Opportunities
Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy technical and operational training in the medical field can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.
You may also continue your education through undergraduate degree opportunities like the Navy College Program and Tuition Assistance and the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
Qualifications & Requirements
A high-school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor. Those seeking a position as a Hospital Corpsman must be U.S. citizens.
While no college degree is required to apply for a position as a Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field, a high degree of difficulty should be expected. Entry Requirements include:
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Normal color perception
- Pass a physical examination
- 28 years of age or younger
- U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance
In addition to strong communication, writing and arithmetic skills, you should also have a genuine interest in providing health care, along with good use of your hands and strong physical stamina.
