Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Provider is responsible for rounding and managing the clinical care of the population at the assigned SNF.
- The provider is responsible for rounding daily and prescribing medications and treatments for residents residing at SNFs.
- Provider will provide high quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services to patients residing in SNFs.
- Provider is responsible for timely documentation of all patient care/encounters
- The provider will be available for phone/secure messaging consultations with facility nursing staff.
- Provider documentation is completed in Theoria?s proprietary electronic health record (EHR) system, ChartEasy?.
- PointClickCare, MatrixCare, and American HealthTech are the most commonly used facility EHR systems.
- Provider is expected to be on-site on and on time for their in-person scheduled shifts.
- Timely attendance is imperative.

Shift Structure
- Rounding time is 7AM-1PM local time, during which the provider must be available to nursing staff and address acute/emergent issues that arise.
- Shifts begin around 7AM local time with flexibility within reason.
- Shifts are daily Monday-Friday
- Charting/documentation can be completed off-site.
- This is an in-person position.

Vogelzang Law, P.C., a mid-sized Plaintiff's law firm in downtown Chicago, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal that will provide support to attorneys with the preparation of cases from inception to trial with multiple defendants. With over 20 years of experience in mesothelioma and asbestos litigation, we have the specialized knowledge and resources needed to litigate complicated cases and the compassion to advocate wholeheartedly for our clients.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief of Intergovernmental Relations leads the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs whose primary focus is advocating for CPS students before every level of government to shape education policy. This role leads the District's intergovernmental relations strategy, establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with elected leaders while ensuring the District proactively monitors and responds to the planning, development and execution of federal and state legislation, and municipal ordinances that affect CPS. This is a full-time, exempt position that will be paid for time worked on a salary basis.
The Chief, Intergovernmental Affairs will be held accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Advise the CEO, District leadership, and the Chicago Board of Education on local, state, and federal public policy.
- Lead the development and implementation of the District's intergovernmental affairs strategy.
- Manage the operations, performance, and effectiveness of the Intergovernmental Affairs Office and team, including the successful development, monitoring, and achievement of the team's shared goals and continuous improvement strategy, and the creation and management of the Office's budget.
- Actively advocate for initiatives and legislation favorable to CPS and work to deter legislation that does not benefit student progress.
- Work closely with executive leaders as a strategic thought partner to support effective policy decisions that result in positive student outcomes.
- Partner with outside organizations, government agencies, and elected officials to secure additional external resources for CPS students.
- Provide appropriate supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities to Intergovernmental Affairs staff, including regular performance reviews and professional growth plans.
- Promote and model a positive culture and brand for the Intergovernmental Affairs team by ensuring accurate and transparent information is shared with all CPS stakeholders.
- Build critical support for and understanding of CPS policy and initiatives to help build strong relationships with key decision makers.

In order to be successful and achieve the above responsibilities, the Chief, Intergovernmental Affairs must possess the following qualifications:
Education Required:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university; Focus in Business Administration, Education, Policy, or Public Administration preferred
- Juris Doctorate degree preferred
Experience Required:
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of related experience, including a minimum of ten (10) years of professional government relations experience required
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience leading high-functioning teams required

Conditions of Employment

Mackie Consultants, a leading consultant in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying located in Rosemont, Illinois, has an immediate opening for a Professional Land Surveyor or a Land Surveyor in Training. This managerial position involves experience in all survey related projects. Preparing survey plats, topographies, and boundary surveys. Opportunities include cutting edge technology in survey advancements with laser scanning, robotics, GPS systems, and drone technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Committed to manage field work for topographic surveys, subdivision development, IDOT & Tollway projects, heavy highway designs, bridge construction, architectural developments, large topographic surveys, construction layout, and mapping.
- Work with Survey Interns (or train under licensed professionals) to gain insight on the principle and practices of accurate surveying applied to innovative robotic technology, laser scanning, GIS systems, leveling, and measurements.
Key Qualifications:
- Have or working toward Professional Land Surveyor License held in the state(s) of IL, IN, or WI.
- Understanding of topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, subdivisions, construction layout, easement and plats of vacation.
- Flourishes well in a cooperative team environment.
- General knowledge of computer systems & MS Office.
- Enthusiastic positive attitude, with clear communication skills.
- CAD, drafting, and computer systems skills.
