We are seeking a Lead Space Survivability/Radiation Effects Engineer to support natural and man-made radiation environment-related tasks at the piecepart, unit, and system levels through all satellite program phases in El Segundo, California.

The successful candidate will interface with all technical disciplines in a team environment to trade factors such as survivability, cost, weight, and technical risk in arriving at the final design.

Primary Responsibilities: Lead total ionizing dose (TID) and single event effects (SEE) part and technology characterization and qualification efforts, including in-house laser SEE testing as well as heavy-ion and proton beam testing at national laboratory facilities.

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our Legal Department in El Segundo. The primary focus will be to support our internal Legal Team in day-to-day operations of the Company with potential specializations in contract management, intellectual property maintenance, legal and regulatory compliance initiatives and general corporate and litigation matters. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to work one of the following shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed:

* 1st shift start time is 5:00 AM

* 2nd shift start time is 3:00 PM

* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted

* Ability to work with your hands and use tools/controls

* Must be willing to work in an environment that is in close proximity to loud machinery and in a facility that uses coolants, solvents, and cleaners regularly

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:

Level 4: $45.50 - $56.00/hour

Level 5: $51.00 - $63.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
