This job provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support services to both in-patients and outpatients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric. This job also coordinates the overall provision of respiratory care, plans, develops and implements respiratory care programs; sets up all types of positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy as ordered by physicians, educates the patient on proper and safe use of equipment; monitors patient compliance data and conducts patient and physician follow-up on patients as per Departmental Policy and Procedures. **$7500 sign on bonus**

Participates in process improvement initiatives and resolves patient issues
Communicates with physicians and serves as a resource on Respiratory Therapy in the Post Acute Setting
Monitors patient compliance to therapy and makes recommendations when needed

Work Experience
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry eligible, r egistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of employment, and temporary state license required.
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
* Ability to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability) and travel throughout and between facilities.
Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
* Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
* Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protocol (may include placement of nasogastric tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, and administration of contrast).
* Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.
* Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performing notification/remediation as warranted.
* Assists in the facilitation of departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance, etc.).
* Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
