Typical duties may include: Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.

Interpreting radar data to calculate appropriate intercept while tracking vessels and people to a successful interdiction.

Searching persons, vessels, baggage, and cargo for contraband or weapons incidental to detention or arrest.

Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.

Qualifications This GS-11 grade level position has a selective factor: As a minimum qualification requirement all candidates must have a qualifying Merchant Mariner Credential.

Conducting investigative inquiries using various techniques, examining files and records, physical and documentary evidence to identify logical conclusions.

Utilizing cameras and other electronic high-tech surveillance equipment to gather evidence, collect, evaluate, and then preserve that physical and documentary evidence.

Highly skilled in writing comprehensive arrest, criminal and incident reports.

Assisting government or state attorneys in preparation for court cases or grand juries, testifies as a law enforcement officer in court proceedings, and administrative forums.

Considerable experience applying arrest authorities and constitutional law in various alleged criminal situations, or knowledge and experience of CBP laws, regulations, policies, legal precedent.

The Operations Manager - Licensing & Credentialing will oversee state licensing for agents and agency/principal entities, including initial orders, renewals, and CE compliance. Supervisory Responsibilities: Team of support specialists and one team lead

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage agent state license ordering (initial and renewals)
  • Oversee all Agency and principal licenses (entity licenses) are properly credentialed
  • Manage CE compliance tracking and remediation
  • Manage Affiliation and affidavits processing
  • License data accuracy and maintenance within AgentSync (SME)
  • Day to day AgentSync relationship and system changes/trainings
  • Licensing policy governance & continuous improvement
  • Act as a SME to all internal partners for license concerns regarding DOI issues, insurance regulations issues (FINRA's)
  • Assists in managing budget and helps to control expenses while meeting licensing operational requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years state DOI licensing experience regarding licensing requirements for agents and agency/principal entities
  • 4+ years with AgentSync or similar licensing management systems

Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site (not virtual) position at our offices in Wallingford, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be a shared administrative resource for the Senior Vice President and six other Vice Presidents supporting all administrative tasks as well as assisting the executive assistants of the CEO and CFO as needed. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely and collaboratively with other Executive Assistants in a deadline driven environment.
  • Maintain executive’s calendar and plan, arrange, and schedule travel for company events, conferences, group or large company meetings and appointments as assigned.
  • Compile and submit executive expense reports.
  • Help manage logistics of department meetings and provide on-site meeting support throughout the year.
  • Compile information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials and prepare charts, graphs, and tables as necessary; satisfy multiple ad hoc reporting requests from executives.
  • Prepare presentations, business communications, data summaries, and other documents to support the finance related departments and company business decisions and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure an efficient patient flow; room patients in a timely manner, complete vital signs, complete required screenings and complete medication reviews

  • Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms

  • Respond to patient requests for telephonic support (Lab results, faxing records to specialists, etc)

  • In accordance with state regulations, MAs may administer vaccinations, perform point of care tests including but not limited to: A1C, spirometry, EKGs, blood draws for lab testing, etc

  • Import required documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload.   

  • Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient care and clinic operations

  • Process orders for durable medical equipment

  • Request medical records from external providers as required by the provider

  • As required, conduct routine quality control checks including infection control measures, equipment, and checks for expired medication and supplies and/or assist in maintaining center lab

What we’re looking for
Required Qualifications:

  • State or national certification (as required by state), or graduation from an accredited medical assistant course

  • 1 year experience as a medical assistant

  • CPR or BLS Certification 

  • Electronic Medical Record experience 

  • Computer skills:  Ability to quickly navigate and use multiple computer programs to include, but not limited to: Gmail, MS Word or Google Docs, Excel or Google Sheets, etc.  

  • Proficiency in non-English languages as required by the center's demographics.
