Provides perioperative patient care, specifically in the intraoperative phase, in both the scrub and circulating roles according to established guidelines. Serves the population from neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. This position will be full-time exempt and paid a weekly salary to provide on-call coverage weeknights M-F, starting at 1800 each evening and ending at 0700 the next morning. A commitment to work one 10-hour shift a pay period M-F between the hours of 0600 and 1800 will be in place at the discretion of the facilitator/manager.

Possession of a current or compact state license as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa. Operating Room experience preferred. PHYSICAL DEMAND REQUIREMENTS:
- If a patient is unable to function independently, a mechanical/assistive device and/or additional personnel must be utilized. If an object requires lifting > 50 lbs., additional equipment/personnel must also be utilized.
- Heavy work: Exerting up to 65 lbs. push/pull (force to move frequently, and lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and lifting up to 40 lbs. frequently, and lifting up to 20 lbs. constantly, to move patient and/or objects.
VISUAL ACUITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Preparing and reading written and electronic documentation

What you will do:
Provides psychosocial assessment, intervention, evaluation, consultation, and education to patient/families as part of comprehensive care management services.,
Identifies high risk patients from a psychosocial/financial perspective and provides information, support, counseling, care management and referrals to appropriate resources.
Serves as a liaison for complex transitions/discharges between the hospital and community agencies for the exchange of clinical and referral information.
Contributes to training of social work professionals as part of the education program at LUHS.
Facilitates and coordinates details of placement and actual discharge of complex discharges to appropriate agencies. Discusses with interdisciplinary team the discharge plan and any barriers to a safe discharge.
What you will need:
Master's degree required in Social Work.
Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required; LCSW preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively.
Ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations.
Salary Range: $30.00 - $46.51per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

Deliver patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation. Assist with various procedures, exams, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., tympanometry, spirometry). Prepare and organize patient charts with necessary information. File dictations and ensure completion of all required documentation. Communicate with patient regarding test results and plan of care Schedule procedures, labs, x-rays, and surgeries; provide pre- and post-surgery information. Assist with patient outreach for overdue visits, labs, and referrals. Coordinate physician schedules and ensure insurance pre-certifications. Schedule and manage patient follow-ups, ensuring continuity of care. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to organizational standards and ethical guidelines. Educate patients and families based on assessed needs and discharge plans. Promote evidence-based resources to optimize nursing practice and patient care. Proactively serves as a patient advocate by utilizing courteous and professional etiquette at all times reflecting positive tone and speaking distinctly with poise, tact and assurance. Assures accurate and complete messages to appropriate personnel. Assists in training, orienting, and supporting new colleagues. Work includes cross coverage in other clinic areas as team needs. Document patient plan(s) of care, tests and examination results in the medical record as directed by the provider. Escalate non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns to the practice manager or healthcare provider(s). Ensure safety checklists/quality controls are completed as required. Other duties as needed and assigned by the manager. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Successful completion of a medical assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Must obtain one of the following certifications listed for a Medical Assistant with their corresponding listed certification provider within one year of hire:

Scheduling Options for Weekend Track
Part Time Track: Work two twelve hour shifts every other weekend (24 hours per pay period) and qualify for part time benefits!
Full Time Track: Work two twelve hour shifts every weekend (48 hours per pay period) and qualify for full time benefits!

Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association has a rewarding opportunity for a RN to join our Weekend team in Warren/Washington county!
Primarily responsible to evaluate and admit new patients to service, completing a comprehensive assessment and developing a plan of care to meet patient needs. Also completes readmissions to service for those who have had a hospitalization and completes revisits to existing patients requiring care on the weekend.
Eddy VNRA has a RN Supervisor, RN Team Leader and secretarial support in the office on weekends to ensure support is available to our Weekend Team in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Enhanced Weekend Track Rate: $59.40
Pay Range:$40.00 - $52.81
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
