Job Summary

Provide support services in the operation and maintenance of an academic or research laboratory to include performing analyses; setup, operation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment; and maintaining stock of supplies. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. May clean instruments, glassware and other lab equipment.

Job Duty 5 -
Prepare and process laboratory samples for use in assigned tests.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge in the use of instrumentation and other lab equipment, laboratory processes and procedures specific to assigned lab. Skills in inventory management and the use of specialized computer applications is required.

Job Summary


The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. Appointments can be made at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor ranks, commensurate with the individual's record. Applicants from all research areas relevant to the discipline will be considered.

Candidates are also expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

ISyE faculty are expected to lead independent research at the cutting edge of their field and build a strong sponsored-research program. In addition, they are expected to contribute to both undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as service to the school, institute, and profession.



Required Qualifications

An earned doctorate in Industrial Engineering or related field is required by the start of the appointment.



Preferred Qualifications

Successful candidates have an exemplary track record of research accomplishments as well as expertise or demonstrated interest in teaching and service.

Responsible for baking pastries and bread in an institutional dining operation as well as catering operations.

This position will interact on a regular basis primarily with culinary staff.

Prepares a wide variety of bakery items from scratch including pastries, breads, and plated desserts.

Decorates pastries and frosts cakes.

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining records, documents, and financial data that encompass a variety of financial activities, typically including fund accounts, payroll and benefits, accounts reconciliation, and similar supporting functions The associate also performs professional accounting work and other duties as assigned



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Research and ensure appropriate fund accounting procedures have been followed for compliance with Federal and State laws and university policy
Job Duty 2 - Audit, analyze, and verify fiscal records and reports Prepare financial and statistical reports, reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in preparing annual budgets Maintains complex spreadsheets
Job Duty 3 - Perform standard review of accounts for proper handling of transactions for designated area
Job Duty 4 - Perform data entry relative to designated accounts; audit and review data entry and reports for accuracy
Job Duty 5 - Serve as resource to other University departments and outside agencies; provide information and assist with resolution of problems
