Job Summary: The Unit Secretary contributes to high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of clerical tasks. The Unit Secretary functions as receptionist for the unit and assists the patient care team while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately enters orders into the computer system, ensuring minimal shortages.
- Answers phones, manages patient records, schedules appointments, and ensures accurate documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Maintains patient charts and ensure labs, consults, and reports are retrieved and distributed promptly.

Position Responsibilities
- Maintains the appropriate Licensure, credentials and registrations; including but not limited to licensure as Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) in the State of Florida and registration as Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Maintains expertise in medical nutrition therapy in general clinical practice.
- Performs calorie counts as requested and maintains accurate records daily of nutritional care activities, participates in patient tray assessments and meal rounds.

- Develops and reviews educational materials for patients as needed.

Qualifications
- License/Registration/Certification
- Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Licensed, as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in the state of Florida. Only those seeking to become eligible for the registration examination for dietitians for the first time, on or after January 1, 2024, are required to have completed the minimum of a graduate degree granted by a USDE accredited institution or foreign equivalent. Individuals who established eligibility for the registration examination for dietitians on or before December 31, 2023 or those who are already registered will not be required by CDR to obtain a graduate degree.

- Support recruitment and onboarding of new providers, ensuring smooth operational integration and acclimation to MSO standards.

- Lead operational rollout of new services, technologies, and acquisitions within assigned region.
- Partner with Business Development on due diligence, onboarding, and implementation phases of new practices.

Manage multiple and complex tax engagements, ensuring the delivery of quality tax solutions for our clients.
2.
Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corporations and their owners.
3.
Utilize your knowledge of CCH to research and consult on various tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries when requested.
4.
Provide proactive tax planning strategies tailored to the needs of our clients.
5.
Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
Qualifications: To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you should have: 1.
A minimum of 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting, ideally in a Big 4 firm.
2.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or on the path towards obtaining a license.
3.
Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
4.
Proficiency in CCH or other tax software.
5.
Extensive experience in dealing with complex passthrough entities and their associate high net worth owners.
6.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships.
7.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax matters to non-tax professionals.
8.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
