Physical Security Consultant

Our firm is partnering with a leading multidisciplinary engineering and consulting organization to identify a Physical Security Consultant to support a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors including aviation, civic and cultural facilities, corporate environments, government, healthcare, higher education, science and technology, and sports venues.

This role can be based in Atlanta, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Raleigh, NC; or Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Risk Analysis: Conduct threat, vulnerability, and asset analyses (security risk assessments) to identify security gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Facility Hardening: Support and oversee site hardening initiatives including the use of vehicle barriers, ballistic-rated materials, and other protective infrastructure.
• Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED): Apply CPTED principles to improve safety and deter criminal activity within facility and campus environments.
• Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and system strategies for client organizations.
• Advisory Support: Provide expert recommendations to leadership and stakeholders on strengthening security posture and maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Technology Management: Lead evaluation, selection, and vendor coordination for security technologies ensuring compliance with project requirements and budgets.
• Incident Response: Investigate security incidents, evaluate current procedures and countermeasures, and help develop contingency and response plans.
• Compliance & Auditing: Conduct site audits and assessments to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory standards such as ISC and DHS guidelines.
• System Design & Integration: Design and architect physical security systems including access control, video surveillance (VMS), and intrusion detection solutions.
• Mentorship: Support the development of junior consultants and security professionals through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain high standards of quality control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated knowledge of access control system architecture, components, communication protocols, and credential technologies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of video surveillance systems, camera technologies, and recording platforms.
• Demonstrated knowledge of intrusion detection systems and associated technologies.
• Understanding of security communications systems including radio, intercom, public address systems, and network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with building design and construction processes is preferred.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or a related field preferred.
• CSC, PSP, or CPP certification required.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in physical security consulting, security management, or integrated security system design.
• Experience conducting risk and vulnerability assessments required.
• Experience supporting network design for security systems is a plus.
• Ability to travel approximately 20% as needed.

Overview: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Perform basic installation and maintenance of components used in campus heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and related equipment including chilled water, refrigeration, air compressor, gas heater, air drier, fume hoods, and pumps. Job Duty 1 -
Install, repair, replace, operate, maintain, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing component used in HVAC.

This job requires journeyman level knowledge and skills for installing and maintaining compressors, fans, bearings, belts, dampers, motors, starters, controls, 208, 200, and 460 service, 24 volt-DC service, coils and piping. Within the department of Tech Dining, the Sous Chef oversees daily food operations within an identified dining venue(s). Responsibilities include ensuring quality food production and presentation to meet the standards established by the Director of Culinary Services, supervising a team of lead cooks and kitchen supervisors and assisting with the oversight of additional shift workers to provide the best Tech Dining experience possible.

This position will interact on a regular basis with culinary employees within Tech Dining.

This position will primarily advise and counsel other culinary employees.

Estimates food consumption, selects, and develops recipes, standardizes production recipes to ensure consistent quality, establishes presentation technique and quality standards, plan, and price menus.

Trains and manages kitchen personnel within a specific dining concept and supervises/coordinates all related culinary activities.

Prepares daily production list and verifies that culinary staff follow all recipes and portion control.

Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements that ensures a safe and sanitary work environment.

Menu Planning - 10
Responsible for component menu planning, costing, and brand management.

Assists in supervision of food service workers with oversight for hiring, performance management, annual reviews, and initiating employee status changes.

Educational Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School Diploma.

Required Experience
Working experience includes three years in culinary, two years as a manager-preferably in higher education, with direct reports, and two years with a menu management system (i.e., a system that contributes to food ordering, inventory management, and food cost evaluation).

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree, or two years college course work in the Culinary Arts or related programs.

KNOWLEDGE
Must be proficient with computer applications and programs (i.e. Microsoft Office suite) and knowledge of all Microsoft Platforms.

SKILLS
Must have a valid Driver's License, and current ServSafe Certification, or other Georgia approved food safety certification.

Must have a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Knowledge of sanitation regulations and food handling procedures. Strong attention to detail and strong organizational and follow up skills. The ability to provide culinary training and insight for special dietary requirements.
