Position Details: Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend rotations) Schedule: Shifts typically from 8:00 AM ??? 5:00 PM (with flexibility) Patient Load: Average of 40-50 patients per day, split between locums and PMR team Admissions: Required for new patients; initial assessments and care planning Team Conf: Participate in daily team conferences in the afternoons On-Call: Available for phone consultations, 2-3 calls per day Weekends: Rotation required for weekend shifts on specific dates Responsibilities: Admit patients and complete initial assessments (History & Physical) Develop and manage the Plan of Care for patients Lead daily team conferences with an experienced multidisciplinary team Consult with internal medicine specialists as needed Perform various interventions such as injections, joint/trigger point injections, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures Manage pain, both acute and chronic, using interventional methods Assist in wound debridement and other therapeutic procedures Supervise a dedicated team, including advanced practice providers Qualifications: Board Certification: Required in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) Licensure: Must be licensed in Washington state Experience: Previous work in an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred Skills: Expertise in interventional pain management and related procedures is a plus Additional Information: Training provided on the PinPoint EMR system (if needed) Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates Competitive pay, with lodging and travel expenses covered If you are an experienced Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician and are interested in providing high-quality care in a collaborative inpatient setting, apply now for more information about this locum tenens opportunity near Snohomish, WA!
