Position Purpose:

Responsible for loading, unloading, transporting and positioning materials to and from various sites on the rooftop of residential homes and commercial buildings. Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods, ensuring that all items are handled with care and precision to prevent damage.

• Ensuring that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed, aiding in the assembly of scaffolding and other structures, inspecting equipment, reporting any problems or issues.

• Facilitate the safe and effective distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs as per company safety guidelines, prioritizing the protection of workers and property.

• Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained and certified) to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops, maintaining a continuous flow to meet project timelines.

• Prepare a flawless sterile environment by expertly arranging specialized instruments, drapes, and solutions to ensure the surgical suite is ready for a safe and successful procedure.

• Anticipate the surgeon’s needs by skillfully providing the correct instruments and supplies in real-time, acting as a vital partner in the rhythm of the operating room.

• Support patient safety and comfort by assisting with positioning, transporting, and draping, ensuring every individual is protected and prepared before surgery begins.

• Guarantee procedural accuracy by meticulously organizing and tracking instrument counts throughout the surgery, serving as a critical safeguard against errors.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

NEED A CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST FROM AN ACCREDITED CST PROGRAM.
