This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys a mix of technical accounting, collaboration across departments, and direct impact on business performance.

Key Responsibilities Manage full month-end close for assigned properties, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Review general ledger activity for accuracy and completeness.

Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for each hotel entity.

Calculate, prepare, and submit monthly and quarterly tax filings (sales, occupancy, and tourism taxes).

Review and post daily system uploads and approve daily flash reports.

Reconcile intercompany balances across multiple portfolios and the parent organization.

Support new property acquisitions by setting up utilities and accounting processes.

Assist in preparing annual budgets for hotel operations.

Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation for annual financial audits.

Contribute to special projects and provide support for other real estate and investment-related activities.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience in hotel accounting).

3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within hospitality, commercial real estate, or property management.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization—from property teams to senior leadership.
