Benefits & Compensation

Benefits: The Company provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Base Salary Range: $165,000 – $185,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base salary range for this position. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.

Job Overview

The Medical Information Specialist is a contract role supporting day to day Medical Information (MI) including Medical Review Committee (MRC) responsibilities. This role coordinates cross functional review activities, tracks MI projects and deliverables, and supports timely, compliant content review and approval. The Specialist works closely with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory stakeholders to manage workflows, support system operations, and assist with inspection readiness while driving efficient and consistent MI processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage content submissions, routing, version control, and approvals in Veeva

• Coordinate MRC schedules, agendas, meetings, and reviewer follow up

• Track MRC and MI timelines; identify and escalate risks or delays

• Maintain MI trackers (content updates, inquiries, escalations, project status)

We are seeking a Lead Space Survivability/Radiation Effects Engineer to support natural and man-made radiation environment-related tasks at the piecepart, unit, and system levels through all satellite program phases in El Segundo, California.

The successful candidate will interface with all technical disciplines in a team environment to trade factors such as survivability, cost, weight, and technical risk in arriving at the final design.

Primary Responsibilities: Lead total ionizing dose (TID) and single event effects (SEE) part and technology characterization and qualification efforts, including in-house laser SEE testing as well as heavy-ion and proton beam testing at national laboratory facilities.

Interface with program office representatives and system engineers representing other disciplines to ensure that radiation-related concerns are adequately addressed.

Develop and flow appropriate unit and system level requirements in early program stages.

Ensure that unit and system level designs appropriately consider radiation-related effects such as total dose (to include ELDRS and dose rate effects), displacement damage, single event effects, internal charging, IEMP, SGEMP, and TREE.

Perform and document unit and vehicle level analyses.

Plan and conduct testing at the piecepart, unit, and vehicle levels to support design and verify compliance with radiation-related requirements.

Interface with personnel at various radiation test facilities across the country to advocate for required test time.

Position Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of support for the environmental test technician team Provide mentorship and guidance to each member of the team via both frequent 1:1s and formal performance review periods Establish career development plans and foster individual growth to unlock each member's maximum potential and facilitate their desired career trajectory Advocate for the team and cultivate an environment where they can be successful Manage communication within the team by providing context/rationale for higher level decisions Develop cross-training initiatives, staffing plans, and a robust recruiting pipeline to support the growing needs of the business Establish and increase the efficiency of business processes to maximize output, limit burden, and enable products to rapidly transition from engineering development to high-rate production Leverage cross-functional relationships to help identify improvement opportunities, align on priorities, and execute initiatives to reduce lead time, labor hours, etc Leverage data to establish, monitor, and improve manufacturing metrics enveloping safety, quality, delivery, and cost Enable manufacturing autonomy by challenging requirements, simplifying work processes, and automating actions Partner with peer engineering teams to implement design changes in response to manufacturing issues and departmental standardization initiatives Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Minimum of 2 years of experience leading technician teams Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience running functional, vibration, and thermal tests for small assemblies Experience working with various manufacturing execution systems This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.
