What will you do?

• Produce all menu items according to recipe and Delaware North standards
• Directs team members in areas of responsibility and ensures team has the tools necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist management with requisition and order of supplies
• Ensures security, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained.
• Oversees production of menu items and assist team members to maintain quality standards.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned (temp logs, hot box logs, prep logs, waste, composting program, sanitation packets)
• Maximizes productivity and morale of staff by promoting a cooperative work climate.
• Assist management team to resolve all staff questions and concerns.
• Check out with manager prior to the end of your shift.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized kitchen, storage areas, coolers/freezers, and equipment.
• Work in a clean and organized manner with a sense of urgency
• Responds and assists with all guest service issues concerning the culinary operation and notify the Executive Chef or Department Chefs of all issues.
• Partners with Delaware North, vendor and team to effectively coordinate areas of shared responsibility
• Follows Delaware North guidelines as stated in team member training manual and handbook
• Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
• Communicates guest issues to management
• Completes daily paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow correct inventory procedures for stand accountability

More about you

• English reading, writing, math and computer skills required
• Minimum three years within the culinary field directly managing a team of no less than eight team members
• Ability to taste and evaluate food products
• Exceptional skills in high-volume cooking
• Knowledge of true “from scratch” cooking
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Stamina to work 60 hours or more per week
• Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
• Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates

Physical requirements

• Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids
• Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 lbs
• Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
• Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet

Advent Talent Group is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to provide immediate contract support for a manufacturing client located in Bloomington, MN. This role is heavily focused on payroll processing, benefits administration, and core HR operations, supporting approximately 110 employees across multiple states. This position is critical to ensuring payroll accuracy, benefits continuity, and smooth HR operations.

Overview:

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Bloomington, MN (On-site)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Compensation: $30.00/hour (Flex/negotiable based on experience).

Responsibilities

Payroll & Compensation

• Process biweekly payroll (Paychex experience preferred, not required)
• Manage deductions, commissions, bonuses, garnishments, and tax-related items
• Maintain payroll records and partner with HR, Accounting, and IT on data accuracy
• Serve as primary contact for employee payroll questions
• Distribute W-2s and maintain labor law postings

Benefits Administration

• Administer health and retirement benefit programs
• Manage benefit data across multiple platforms
• Coordinate with external benefit vendors
• Support open enrollment and qualifying life events
• Administer FMLA tracking and benefit invoicing during leave

HR Operations Support

• Assist with recruiting coordination and HR administration
• Support employee engagement and company events
• Provide general support to the HR Manager and internal partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of payroll and benefits administration experience
• Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced required)
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
• PHR certification a plus

As Loss Prevention Supervisor you will improve company profitability by executing company programs around external theft deterrence, internal investigations and operational shortage. You will increase associate awareness of shortage opportunities through training, lead and influence teams to reduce shortage and build partnerships with store and company leaders, law enforcement, and local network groups.

• Identify external and internal theft trends within assigned location(s)
• Execute theft prevention strategies, including deterring theft and internal investigations to reduce exposure
• Implement store awareness programs that address theft, safety, inventory and shortage control
• Effectively identify and communicate potential shortage opportunities to all leaders
• Conduct operational audits and physical security inspections to ensure the store is in compliance with Kohl's policies and procedures
