We are seeking a Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment in Illinois, starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients, managing 5–10 patients per shift, participating in ICU rounds, and performing critical care procedures. Shifts are from 10 AM to 10 PM, with a minimum of 4 consecutive shifts required; weekend-only availability is acceptable.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients in collaboration with physicians, other APPs, and the e-ICU team.
- Manage 5–10 patients per shift.
- Participate in ICU rounds at 10 AM and 10 PM.
- Perform critical care procedures including Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement, Arterial line placement, Hemodialysis (HD) line placement, and Intubations (based on skill and comfort level).
- Collaborate with on-site physicians, other APPs, and/or e-ICU as needed.

Responsibilities
- Performs quality ultrasound exams with the appropriate technical skills and according to the established procedure protocols.
- Provides for appropriate patient care, safety, education, and an exceptional customer service experience during procedures.
- Maintains appropriate documentation of patient records
- Presents appropriate filming and technical findings of ultrasound scans to the radiologist/cardiologist.
Education/Accredited Programs
- Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Program
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations
- ARDMS or ARRT registered or registry eligible in an Ultrasound discipline (i.e.OB/GYN, ABD, Breast or Cardiac Echo). Eligible candidates must obtain certification within two years of hire date.
- CPR Certified

The Impact You Can Make
The Clinical Lab Technologist (MT) performs medical laboratory tests and analyses to provide data for diagnosis and treatment of patients. These tests are associated with biochemical, blood banking, hematological, microbiological, and urinalysis procedures. May supervise 2-3 support staff.
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical/Clinical Laboratory Technology, OR BS in one of the biological, chemical , or physical sciences.; AND/OR meets all of the educational and experience requirements for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist according to Part 58 of 10NYCRR Subpart 58-1 Clinical Laboratories of the NYSDOH code.
- Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the New York State Education Department is required.
- American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) registration preferred.
Salary Range

The Pharmacist also coordinates the timely manufacturing and dispensing of pharmaceuticals. Provided immediate supervision for Pharmacy Technician functions within the pharmacy.

Responsibilities
- Interprets, reviews and evaluates medication orders for optimal dose, dosage form, frequency, concentration, duration, drug-drug interactions, drug-disease state interaction, drug allergy interaction, and potential cross allergenicity, taking into account the patient's special or age related needs, to ensure optimal drug therapy, high quality patient care and timely dispensing of accurate and appropriate medications.
- Dispenses medications by reviewing patient specific bulk medications and pyxis fills and refills for accuracy of the right medication, dose, dose form, strength, size, quantity to ensure accurate, timely and safe pharmaceutical care.
- Participates in process improvement teams within the department and organization to build strong relationships with staff members, demonstrates GFH core values and enhances financial viability.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy from a pharmacy program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
- Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registrations
- Current, active license to practice pharmacy New York State; or eligible to reciprocate licensure from another state
- Pharmacy Registration in New York State

- Communication and language skills to read analyze and interpret medication orders and information, the ability to respond appropriately to emergent situation, staff, physicians, and patient inquiries or complaints and the ability to effectively communicate important information to

- Ability to perform complex Pharmaceutical calculations and an understanding of statistical concepts such as frequency, distribution, standard deviation and variances.
- The pharmacist needs the ability to solve clinical problems related to pharmaceutical care and drug therapy.

- Knowledge of computer order entry
- Knowledge of federal and state laws governing pharmacy practices
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
