Responsibilities:

Daily duties consist of assisting the Guardian with making arrangements for the care and custody of the client (an impaired adult with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, or dementia) by making sure their daily needs are met and they are getting the care they need.

  • Understand client goals
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and legal requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to clients and their families
  • Make decisions using best judgment in key areas of the client’s life, and follow through on decisions made for wards such as living arrangements, medical decisions, quality of life improvements, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case records
  • Manage and maintain a case load of clients and complete all required documentation under the supervision of the Director of Guardianship Services
