Unit Summary:

The 39-bed unit is dedicated to providing high-quality pre/post general surgical care as well as managing the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. The RN will be responsible for providing patient-focused nursing care to patients with various surgical needs, including Laparoscopic Cholecystectomies, Tracheostomies, kidney and liver transplants, and trauma patients. RNs on this unit can learn about a wide range of surgical procedures and techniques, which can enhance their expertise and contribute to their professional development.

Position Summary:

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BLS
• Current state nursing license.

Unit Overview
The Operating Room at GW Hospital is a 17-suite surgical center supporting a high volume of complex cases including trauma, neuro, ortho, and cardiovascular surgery. The senior surgical tech plays a leadership role in daily case preparation and staff mentorship.

Position Summary
The Senior OR Surgical Tech supports high-complexity cases, leads room setup for advanced procedures, and serves as a resource and preceptor to less experienced surgical techs.

Main Tasks

• Prepare and maintain the surgical field for high-acuity procedures
• Serve as primary surgical tech for complex or specialized surgical cases
• Mentor and precept junior surgical techs and support onboarding of new hires
• Lead surgical setup and troubleshooting of equipment
• Ensure adherence to sterile technique and infection control
• Support OR workflow efficiency through proactive communication
• Assist charge nurse with daily case readiness and resource management

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree Required. BSN preferred

The Medical-Surgical Overflow Unit (MSOU) is a dynamic, fast-paced environment designed to accommodate patients from various medical-surgical specialties when primary units reach capacity. As a Registered Nurse in the MSOU, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population, ensuring continuity and safety during transitions of care.

As the Clinical Account Manager (CAM) here at Hologic, you will be responsible for supporting driving growth in a geographically defined territory for the Breast and Skeletal Health Solution Division’s biopsy products and services. You will assist in driving territory growth by coordinating with Account Executives, defining business plans, demonstrating clinical expertise, and selling across the portfolio of new and existing products and services. In this role, you will also build strong relationships with team members and customers – working to uncover and create needs with Hologic’s unique value proposition. What We Expect: 

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in clinical sales or working in a clinical environment required.
  
• 3+ years of experience in clinical radiology/imaging/mammography, medical sales, or a related clinical field preferred.
  
• Candidates with backgrounds such as Radiology Technologists, Mammography Technologists, Registered Nurses (RN), or other clinical professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
  
• Clinical degree and/or certifications (such as RT, Mammo Tech, RN, or other relevant clinical credentials) highly preferred.
  
• Demonstrated track record of success in achieving business results in complex, matrixed environments.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to navigate and win complex customer opportunities.
  
• Proven negotiation skills in B2B sales, including capital equipment, medical devices, and/or disposables.
  
• Strong team player who collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders (Sales, Clinical Applications, Support/Service, Technology teams) and external partners (Radiologists, Mammography Technicians, Modality, Operations, Pricing teams).
  
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
  
• High level of business and financial acumen.
  
• Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills, as well as outstanding oral and written presentation abilities.
  
• Top performer in previous roles (e.g., Presidents Club, top revenue generator) preferred.

• This role is based on a base salary and commission plan combination. On target compensation range for a highly successful individual may earn up to $120,000 annually. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, territory/ geography, education, business needs, market demand and performance versus quota.
