They not only have knowledge of the clinical significance of lab results, they also monitor and understand our high tech instrumentation at a professional level, and report results accurately and rapidly on an ongoing basis.
Night shift 10:00 pm - 6:30 a.m.; every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage.

- Practices established safety procedures, including Universal Precautions and proper use of safety equipment.
- Performs routine scheduled and specialized maintenance of laboratory equipment.

The EH&S Professional II will provide both leadership and tactical support to the Environmental, Health and Safety programs at the Columbus manufacturing location. With strategic guidance from both the central EHS function and local plant manager, this hands-on leadership position will ensure local legislative compliance, develop and maintain ISO systems, develop an autonomous EHS culture, promote defined Health and Wellness programs, define EHS standard operating procedures, provide EHS training, develop risk identification and reduction awareness and methods, all achieved through participation and employee engagement
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Identify and champion impactful initiatives seeking continuous improvement in safety performance and environmental compliance
- Establish a site high consequence program to manage severe incidents with fatality (SIF) and ensure flawless execution of site life critical programs
- Gauge and correct the execution of site EHS programs through inspections, audits, SMATs, cold-eye reviews
- Coach, mentor, and support the development and guidance of line management on EHS topics
- Proactively drive awareness and communicates best practices related to Safety, Health and Environment, promoting an autonomous EHS culture
- As required, meet with regulatory agencies
- Partner with other key EHS team members during routine calls
- Oversee the filing of all internal, corporate, and required government reporting relating to regulatory compliance
- Maintains an EHS compliance calendar, audits compliance system routinely, and ensure compliance gaps are corrective
- Maintain site required ISO certifications
- Ensure compliance with site permits and plans (indirect discharge, SPCC, SWPPP, Air)
- Manage and ensure compliance with the waste management program (hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal)
- Become a technical expert on site process technologies
- Help operations navigate complex regulations and company standards.
- Establish both a short term and long term EHS strategy for the site in conjunction with guidance from the Plant Manager and CCC/Chemviron Center of Excellence
- This EHS strategy shall be monitored as a KPI across the site and the incumbent will establish accountability channels to ensure that all levels of the organization delivers EHS results
- This individual shall also participate and lead cultural transformation across the site to achieve sustainable results
- Work closely with the Regional Center of Excellence leaders to verify quality of programs and processes via audit and self-assessment tools
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (preferably in an Environmental Management discipline, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering)
- A master’s degree or equivalent is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- 3-5 years of working knowledge and expertise in Environmental regulations and maintaining compliance with pertinent regulations is required
- 3-5 years of strong EHS and in OSHA/EPA regulations and reporting experience is required

- Leads and supports start-up and site testing activities for assigned projects:
- Ensure sufficient manpower on-site each day to perform start-up and site testing work.
- Assist during start-up and site testing as necessary, depending upon man-power availability and site location.
- Provide daily status reports to service management, project management, and sales rep.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Keeps current on Vertiv equipment start-up and commissioning processes, procedures, and tools-of-the-trade.
- Keeps current on safety bulletins, safety field change notices, field change notices, and service tips.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Leads daily Vertiv toolbox talk, pre-job safety walk and inspection, and drives any necessary corrective/preventative actions required in a timely fashion.
- Operates in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines.
- Must wear appropriate PPE as per company guidelines and accordance with job duties.
- Adhere to work hours policy guidelines \"14 hours rule.\"
- Report all work-related accidents or injuries within 24 hours to the appropriate personnel.
- Must be a role model to fellow associates with regards to safety by setting a positive example.
- Lead by example with the use of stop work authority, good catch engagement, and timely closure of necessary corrective/preventative actions.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to Vertiv warranty process in partnership with project manager.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting in accordance with published guidelines:
- Timecards, expense reports, mileage reports, SR/task closure, forms, et al.
- Supports project manager with obtaining any necessary technical data so project manager can maintain project systems.
- Maintain company property according to company policies:
- Credit cards, PPE, test equipment, laptop, smartphone, et al.
Customer Satisfaction Responsibilities:
- Provide proper and adequate communication to internal and external customers.
- Ensure daily alignment of customer expectations and Vertiv activity, and drive clarification/re-alignment if there appears to be misalignment of expectations.
- Maintain customer satisfaction rates according to company guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Experience (one or more of the following):
- ASEET preferred.
- Equivalent industry experience, specifically leading and actively participating in start-up and commissioning of Vertiv power equipment - preferred.
- ASMET.
- Six years military experience in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial construction management.

The Forklift Operator uses industrial, powered, computer-equipped standup forklifts to move materials throughout the distribution center and place product in designated areas. You will need to be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet or more at times.

- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour.
- Shift: Monday through Friday
- Start Time: 4:00 am until end of production, once production is met, the shift is released.
- This position is located in the Cooler/Freezer or Perishable builiding. We do offer all of the proper PPE to work in these conditions.

What you'll do as a Forklift Operator:
- Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
- Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
- Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
- Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience operating a forklift and RF Utility (preferable, not required).
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
