POSITION OVERVIEW
The Events Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Event Team. The Events Manager is responsible for driving growth in clinic screens from community events by developing and executing a wide range of events to generate a high volume of qualified leads for
clinical research studies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead the Events Team in generating qualified leads to support organizational screening goals.
2. Determine the target audience of each clinical trial protocol and design events to reach the appropriate demographic.
3. Oversee all event logistics including event concepting, site selection, facility contract negotiations, event supplies, event personnel, and related responsibilities.
4. Provide on-location support to the Events Team.
5. Track and analyze event data (particularly the quantity and quality of leads generated by each event), share this data with the team, and use the data to inform your decision-making and modify future events to yield improved results. Also incorporate feedback from event attendees and the marketing and recruitment teams to iterate and improve upon events.
6. Work with sponsors and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to obtain reimbursement for as many events as possible.
7. Ensure that events are professional in image and consistent with the brand management principles and messaging of Charter Research.
8. Mentor and train team members and provide leadership and support to all department members; ensure team members complete required training; develop training materials, as needed.
9. Appropriately identify, prioritize, and communicate issues that need to be addressed by management, acting as needed.
10. Coordinates and facilitates team meetings.
