Responsibilities (Emergency Department / ER Physician Duties)

  • Collaborate with mid-level providers and hospital support staff to ensure safe patient care and throughput
  • Document patient encounters and orders using Meditech 6.1 EMR
  • Coordinate care with available support services including anesthesia, general surgery, radiology, and orthopedic surgery
  • Ensure timely and effective patient throughput during 12-hour night shifts, prioritizing patient safety and efficient ED operations
