POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the management of small to midsize projects with 1 to 3 team members which could include field forces, tradesmen, foremen, other trades, and subcontractor/suppliers. Responsible to develop and lead all aspects of field operations to achieve or exceed all project goals for both LeChase and customer.
Market Sector- Working and building knowledge in the K-12 or higher education market sectors a huge plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, coordinate and direct the efficient use of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors/suppliers to secure safe, high-quality construction at minimum cost in accordance with the LeChase Fundamental Requirements.
- Maintain daily communications with project manager regarding status of job, including any significant changes required in the scope of work and subsequent change order(s).
- Coordinate, participate, contribute, and implement the Project Team responsibilities of pre-construction, construction, and post-construction assignments.
- Oversee the effectiveness and evaluate the performance of project foremen and their crews.
- Observe, monitor, and control manpower efforts and productivity. Coordinate field personnel with the Director of Field Operations. Monitor costs daily.
- Ensure that all required paperwork is filled out accurately, correctly and turned in timely. The required paperwork includes time sheets with cost codes, equipment time sheets with cost codes, daily productivity/quantity reports, daily reports, accident reports, equipment/scaffolding release forms, project status reports, invoice approvals (when required), field purchase orders, time, and material sheets, extra work/back charge sheets, equipment time reports, safety meeting minutes, job meeting minutes, etc.
- Follow and implement company safety program. Conduct safety meetings and safety inspections, ensure toolbox talks are being conducted and maintain good housekeeping.
- Maintain excellent working relations with Owners, their representatives, construction managers, architects, and engineers. Pursue and obtain repeat business through complete customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate, cooperate and assist subcontractors, suppliers, and other prime trades. Maintain good working relationships.
- Communicate with other management staff. Encourage communication and ideas from crews, foremen, other trades through weekly/daily meetings. Anticipate and develop problem solving techniques.
- Review job costs and schedule status with Project Manager weekly.
- Constantly maintain As-Built Drawings and other project close-out requirements throughout construction.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required. Vocational and/or college degree in relevant field strongly preferred
- OSHA 30 strongly preferred
- Technical, mechanical, electrical, communication, and leadership training preferred
- Skills/Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent utilizing Microsoft Office & other construction-related software.
- In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education/Experience:
- High school diploma required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of construction experience and 5+ years working directly with specific account or market segment
- OSHA 30 training or willingness to obtain in a timely fashion required.
- Skills/Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the project delivery techniques.

Exciting new role for a growing insurance agency. The Claims Consultant will focus on workers’ compensation and serve as a key resource for commercial clients navigating the claims process. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily health and safety operations for all staff and eliminate safety and industrial hygiene-related obstacles to ensure execution of high-quality customer parts.
- Inspect facilities daily for hazards. Document inspections, audits, and behavioral safety observations regularly. Oversee prompt correction of all deficiencies.
- Serve as an advocate for corporate EHS strategy and culture building. Ensure continuous alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Support development and execution of strategy to reduce incidents, improve health and safety metrics, and create a safer work environment every day.
- Lead the First Responder Team and be the lead Emergency Coordinator in all emergencies using basic First Aid / CPR / AED training and experience.
- Lead investigation of near miss incidents, accidents, and injuries/illness in an effort to determine validity, root cause, and identify and follow through on adequate corrective action. Document fully using established processes and communicate to appropriate parties to prevent future incidents. Work in conjunction with HR to manage Worker’s Compensation claims with the intention to proactively manage and minimize employee time away from work.
- Track incidents using established processes and calculate safety metrics monthly in coordination with other departments. Broadcast metrics via established formats and methods. Complete OSHA 300 log annually and post during required posting period.
- Develop, maintain, continuously improve, and enforce Health and Safety Programs (written program, training programs, and all supporting content), as needed and applicable, which may include, but are not limited to: Aerial Work Platforms, Bloodborne Pathogens, Confined Space Entry, Contractor/Vendor, Crane/Hoist, Crystalline Silica, Emergency Action/Fire Prevention, Ergonomics, Fall Protection, First Aid / CPR / AED, HAZCOM, Chemical Safety & PPE, Health & Safety Auditing, Hearing Conservation, Heat Illness Prevention, Hexavalent Chromium, Hot Work, Incident Reporting, Industrial Hygiene, Job Hazard Analysis, Lab Chemical Safety, Loto / Electrical Safety / Arc Flash, Machine Guarding, Medical Records Mgmt., Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift), Radiation Safety, Radiation Safety, Respiratory Protection
- Maintain emergency preparedness by conducting drills to ensure readiness and protection of assets.
- Maintain contractor, vendor and visitor safety including procedures and equipment. Provide support during work tasks performed by contractors including coordinating communication of impacts to Anoplate staff and the work environment and provide periodic support throughout the duration of the site work.
- Evaluate the workplace environment and develop safety management policies that identify and define safety responsibilities for all employees.
- Walk the facility floor on a regular basis to establish EHS presence and provide support.
- Support the Director of EHS with regulatory and certification inspections (e.g., OSHA, DOL).
- Complete incident reports, work with internal parties to identify corrective actions, implement corrective actions, and communicate improvements.
- Review and analyze incident reports and data for accuracy and detail, ensuring corrective actions are fully implemented and effective.
- Maintain Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) by reviewing and updating annually for all positions.
- Manage inspections of critical equipment including fire extinguishers, sprinklers, eye wash stations, emergency showers, first aid kits and equipment, hoists, lighting and other critical emergency or high-risk equipment.
- Participate and lead Safety Committee, maintain minutes, and track follow-up actions.
- Identify, develop, conduct and maintain Health and Safety Training and materials. Review training documents as needed. Act as the lead for new hire EHS training coordination and delivery. Work with Training Department to coordinate EHS training for all employees.
- Coordinate scheduled and requested air / industrial hygiene monitoring events using appropriate equipment.
- Maintains all documents related to the Safety Management System.
- Coordinating the weekend security guard schedule with the security service provider weekly. Coordinating the weekend / holiday on-call schedule for Environmental Operations, Maintenance, IT, and Leadership / Management.
- Distribute on-call list to impacted/responsible parties and provide copy for guard service each week.
Your Education & Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Training
- 4 year college education in technical field (preferably industrial safety, environmental, or other related field of study)
- HAZWOPER 24- or 40-Hour Certification
- Lock Out Tag Out
- Basic Computer Skills: Limble CMMS, Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.

Our East Syracuse, NY laboratory is looking for a Laboratory Supervisor to lead their Metals team! The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their respective department. The Laboratory Supervisor works with Team Leads to manage sample throughput to ensure turnaround times are met while maintaining data quality that meets or exceeds industry standards. The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for promoting a safe working culture and environment throughout the laboratory.
Job Functions
- Coordinates workflow through the department to ensure turnaround times are met
- Works with Senior Analysts and Senior Technicians to manage staff and instrumentation resources to maximize sample throughput and ensures production targets are met
- Uses LIMS to ensure that samples are processed appropriately and updates the samples’ status in LIMS as required
- Applies technical judgment to determine potential problems for samples processed
- Helps implement best practices in the laboratory to maximize operational efficiency and maintain data quality that meets or exceeds industry standards
- Demonstrates good leadership through effective planning, delegating and empowering subordinates appropriately, and leading by example. Manages people and performance daily, acting quickly and decisively when required.
- Ensures staffing levels are appropriate for sample volumes and that staff are properly trained to perform their assigned duties
- Works with the Laboratory Manager to oversee hiring and training competent laboratory personnel
- Assists with the training of new analysts to become productive members of the team
- Ensures the lab’s operating supplies inventory is appropriate for current workloads
- Appropriately follows safety requirements for the work that is done and ensure that your team members are also following these requirements
- Immediately addresses safety problems as they arise in the lab (i.e. hood use, safety glasses, methylene chloride handling) to minimize exposure and maximize safe practices

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 – $75,000 annually. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
