Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree (MBA or MHA) with a concentration in finance or accounting required; CPA designation preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in healthcare finance, including at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience. Candidates should bring recent expertise equivalent to that of a Vice President of Finance or Controller in a mid‑sized to large organization (100+ providers) or prior CFO experience in a small medical group.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of auditing, budgeting, capital reporting, cash management, cost accounting and reporting, decision support, financial planning and analysis, general ledger, and payroll.
- Financial Acumen: Proven ability in ROI analysis, forecasting, cost‑benefit analysis, accounting, and data‑driven strategic decision‑making.
- Leadership & Influence: Strong record of executive‑level collaboration, communication, and the ability to influence decision‑making across diverse stakeholders.
- Technology Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
