Required or Preferred Experience:

About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice MD in South Dakota!
We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026, in South Dakota. This role involves a schedule of M-Th, Tu-Fri, or M-F from 7 AM to 5 PM, with rotating weeknight and weekend on-call duties. The physician will be responsible for 90% clinic and 10% in-patient care, including rounding on a small inpatient census and managing related calls.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive Bread & Butter Family Practice care.
- Manage Pannell PC patients, including those with Hypertension, Diabetes, and other chronic conditions.
- Deliver 90% clinic-based care and 10% in-patient services.
- Participate in alternate weeks of rounding on 0-2 inpatients in the hospital, in addition to clinic duties.
- Take night call to manage calls from 0-2 inpatients in the hospital on a 1 in 3 rotation.
- Provide weekend call coverage on a 1 in 3 rotation.

- Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- EMR System: RPMS
- Onsite clinic facilities include Lab, X-ray, Imaging, and Pharmacy.
