About You
Summary
As a member of the Transportation Safety Department, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing compliance, safety, accountability (CSA) performance and ensuring all corrective actions are taken as a result of roadside inspections. Overseeing accident investigations, along with documenting investigation findings. Initiating and maintaining all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated paperwork for the fleet. Driver hiring and maintaining qualification files in accordance with FMCSA guidelines. Conducting driver safety meetings. Interacting with Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance and Risk Management. Monitoring hours of service (HOS) compliance and provide refresher training as needed.
Essential Functions
The core functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Initiate and maintain all U.S. Department of Transportation mandated paperwork to include; driver qualification file, annual review, DOT physical, Commercial Driver License.
- Monitor and manage driver safety performance such as HOS compliance, DriveCam review and coaching, CSA compliance and ensure all corrective action is taken as a result of roadside inspections.
- Accident investigation, documentation and participate in determining the ruling of preventable or non-preventable, post-accident counselling, refresher training.
- Driver retention and new hire. Verify qualification in accordance with our driver hiring guidelines. Initiate and process all new hire paperwork, to include the Department of Transportation’s PSP (Pre-Employment Screening Program), Clearing House validation and maintain driver files.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by actively monitoring driver's license status, medical certificates and ensure DOT random drug testing quota is met.
- Ensure all equipment meets regulatory requirements (registration, annual inspection, insurance and internal record keeping).
- Interact with dispatch personnel to ensure drivers are always in compliance with all regulations.
- Interact with Fleet Maintenance regarding vehicle inspections, equipment compliance, and damages.
- Interact with stores regarding any safety issues involving our drivers, equipment, or store property. Remedy such issues.
- Research motorist complaints, interact with the motorist to provide a timely response, present and confront the driver with the complaint.
- Research and interact with Fleet Maintenance and Accounting regarding damage to our equipment caused by third party motor carriers or vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, finance or marketing. Certifications in Supply Chain Management, OSHA, Safety and Compliance; a plus.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of supervisory experience in Transportation Safety & Compliance
- Working knowledge of FMCSA Rules and Regulations, CSA and HOS
- Working knowledge of Accident Investigation & Reconstruction
- CSP certification preferred
- Substance Abuse Training Certification
- Detail oriented multi-tasker with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and transportation compliance regulations.
- Advanced personal computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Effective communication skills to include both verbal and written communication. Ability to present to varied audiences, such as executive leadership or Members. Shares information and knowledge in support of the team and organization’s success.

- Flexibility with regard to working hours, shift rotations, work locations, weekends, overtime, and holidays in a 24/7 Sunday thru Saturday operation. Split work week is required (Any 5 out of 7) and days off will be based on business need and may not include traditional Saturday/Sunday off days.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $69,004 to $90,324. Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.

About You
As a member of the Transportation Safety Department, the Transportation Safety & Compliance Administrator supports the Safety & Compliance Department by performing a wide range of administrative and data management tasks that help maintain the fleet’s overall safety and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining comprehensive accident and damage files, updating federally mandated records such as the DOT Accident Register, and preparing monthly compliance reports. The position requires daily interaction with internal partners including Risk Management, Fleet Maintenance, and Safety Supervisors as well as external stakeholders such as insurance brokers, ticket management companies, and law enforcement agencies. The Administrator also prepares various departmental correspondence and provides general administrative support as assigned by the Manager of Safety & Compliance. This role is essential in ensuring accurate documentation, timely reporting, and efficient workflow within the Safety & Compliance function.
Responsibilities:
The core functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Establish, organize, and maintain comprehensive files for all accident investigations, tractor damage, trailer damage, and miscellaneous damage claims.
- Update and track all accident documentation to ensure accurate and complete file records.
- Maintain the DOT‑mandated Accident Register, ensuring all required incidents are logged and updated in a timely manner, according to DOT requirements.
- Manage data and create the Monthly Accident Register report for internal distribution.
- Coordinate check requests and manage charge accounts for obtaining police accident reports.
- Maintain a 7‑year filing archive for all accident-related folders in accordance with regulatory retention requirements.
- Coordinate with the insurance broker regarding Certificates of Insurance for owner‑operators renting or purchasing tractors.
- Engage daily with the Risk Management Division to exchange required information on accident files, supporting accurate claims handling and risk assessments.
- Manage the driver qualification files in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Track and manage expiration dates for driver credentials, including medical screenings and registration renewals; generate and send monthly compliance reports to the Transportation Manager.
- Support timely processing of driver terminations, ensuring all systems and records are updated and coordinated with Accounting to remove union dues.
- Maintain accurate databases for fleet tractors, 700+ drivers, owner‑operator tractor registrations, and TWIC cards.
- Facilitate the Drivers’ Safety Award Program, including tracking accident‑free eligibility, ordering gifts, and coordinating award distribution.
- Monitor and maintain the annual roster of drivers who qualify for safety recognition based on accident‑free performance.
- Manage New York City parking tickets, including sorting, reconciling, and reviewing ticket notices.
- Coordinate with third‑party ticket management companies, maintain an updated tracking spreadsheet, and prepare monthly payment compilations and check requests.
- Prepare driver Preventable and Non‑Preventable determination letters and distribute to appropriate parties.
- Draft and maintain the Monthly Motorists Complaints Report, including documentation of incidents and tracking involved drivers.
- Generate departmental correspondence and reports as assigned by the Manager, Safety & Compliance.
- Is daily point of contact for Safety Supervisors, supporting investigation processes, documentation needs, and operational safety initiatives.
- Coordinate with Fleet Maintenance regarding damage assessments for tractors and trailers involved in accidents.
- Collaborates with internal departments (Transportation Operations, Risk Management, Fleet Maintenance, Accounting) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely communication.
What we are looking for

Summary
As a member of Wakefern Tech’s HR/Legal Systems team, this role will support and enhance Wakefern's HCM platform, including configuration, troubleshooting, and developing SQL-based reporting. This role involves working closely with various areas across the enterprise (including corporate, warehouse, retail, and member locations) to understand their needs and architect the appropriate HCM related solutions.
Essential Functions

The Vendor Procurement & Carrier Strategy Manager is responsible for leading the sourcing, procurement, onboarding, performance management, and compliance oversight of third-party vendors and transportation carriers supporting Safeway Logistics and ECW operations. This role ensures the organization maintains a reliable, compliant, and cost-effective carrier and vendor network while mitigating operational, financial, legal, and regulatory risks.
The position plays a strategic role in capacity planning, carrier procurement strategy, cost management, and vendor compliance while partnering closely with Operations, Sales, Customer Solutions, Safety, Legal, and Finance teams to support scalable logistics solutions and customer growth.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Procurement & Management
- Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of transportation, warehousing, and logistics-related vendors and carriers.
- Negotiate vendor and carrier contracts including pricing structures, service level agreements (SLAs), fuel programs, accessorial schedules, and renewal terms.
- Maintain a centralized vendor and carrier database including contracts, certifications, insurance documentation, compliance records, and performance data.
- Monitor vendor and carrier performance against KPIs and SLAs, addressing deficiencies and implementing corrective actions.
- Establish vendor and carrier scorecards to evaluate cost efficiency, service reliability, safety performance, on-time delivery, and claims ratios.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key strategic vendors and carriers to drive performance improvements and operational alignment.
Carrier Procurement & Network Strategy
- Develop and execute a carrier procurement strategy to ensure sufficient transportation capacity for all customer freight, including peak season and surge volume requirements.
- Build and maintain a diverse, reliable carrier network across transportation modes including FTL, LTL, and final mile.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new carriers and brokers to support expanding customer needs while ensuring compliance and service expectations.
- Conduct market analysis on lane rates, capacity trends, and carrier performance to optimize transportation cost and service levels.
- Lead annual and quarterly RFP/RFQ bid events for major transportation lanes and customer programs.
- Develop lane pricing strategies to support competitive customer quotes while protecting company margins.
- Maintain a centralized rate repository for all contracted carriers to ensure accurate and accessible pricing for internal teams.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all vendors and carriers comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations including DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and insurance requirements.
- Oversee vendor and carrier onboarding processes including background checks, insurance verification, licensing, and safety documentation.
- Implement a carrier risk management model to identify high-risk vendors or carriers and enforce remediation plans or removal when necessary.

Capacity Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Support Sales teams with carrier network insights during customer onboarding, pricing development, and logistics solution design.
- Lead weekly cross-functional reviews to evaluate capacity planning, carrier performance, and cost-to-serve analysis.

Reporting & Technology Enablement

- Maintain accurate reporting for leadership to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in vendor procurement, carrier procurement, supply chain management, or logistics operations
- Strong knowledge of transportation compliance and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience managing carrier/vendor contracts, procurement processes, and risk mitigation strategies

The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position focuses on expanding knowledge and skills, provides effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients. This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.

- Assessment
- Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation.
- Performs age and disease specific assessment / data collection independently in a systematic manner focusing on physiologic, psychological and cognitive status.
- Recognizes clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
- Identifies variables in patient/family education needs based on age, disease, and culturally specific learning differences.
- Plan
- Develops a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes.
- Formulates age and disease specific patient / family centered goals / outcomes based on assessment data.
- Develops and coordinates a plan of care which is patient / family focused, prioritized and encompasses the continuum of care.
- Implementation
- Communicates, coordinates, and implements the plan of care.
- Provides ongoing communication with patient / family, nursing colleagues and other members of the health care team regarding patient's status, rendered care and treatment plans.
- Implements age and disease specific care in an organized and timely manner.
- Provides or coordinates the patient / family education as needed and ensures understanding.
- Performs according to established protocols in clinical situations, including communicating with appropriate persons and documenting events.
- Provides nursing care and treatments that reflect the patients' needs, advocates appropriately and demonstrates evidence-based nursing practice and compliance with standards.
- Performs continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation of each individual patient's assessments, plan-of-care, interventions and evaluation of rendered care.
- Medication administration utilizing the newest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies designed to ensure the safest delivery of medications to our patients.
- Multi-disciplinary discharging of patients to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.
- Evaluation
- Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Utilizes critical thinking skills based on nursing knowledge to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Initiates interventions related to patient's change in condition and unexpected response to care.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Identifies ethical issues in the practice setting and brings them to the attention of other team members.
- Recognizes and responds to opportunities to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Must acquire and maintain competencies, certifications and continuing education in order to meet any facility accreditation or individual licensing requirements.
- Adheres to American Nurses Association Code for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
- Lifts a minimum of 35 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 10 lbs. and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.
- Adheres to HMH's Organizational and Managerial competencies and standards of behavior.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. (Note this applies to team members hired on or after November 2019).
- Must have six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR must be an active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification is required within 60 days of hire.

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our Finance team. This person will play a critical role in supporting the Controller with the month-end close process, external audits, and continuous optimization of our ERP and accounting processes.
Responsibilities
Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
Partner with the Controller to develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and controls
Work closely with external auditors to support annual audits and financial reviews
Drive process improvements and automation within the ERP and accounting systems
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and other teams to ensure accounting accuracy
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Support other special projects as the company scales
Qualifications
CPA required (active license preferred)
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including public accounting and industry experience (SaaS or technology preferred)
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct, or similar)
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Collaborative mindset with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
