As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, but aren't unstable enough to need ICU care. Progressive Care Unit RNs will utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information, detecting any changes and thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations. Close observation is necessary as many PCU patients receive a significant amount of complex medications, sometimes through an intravenous line that may need to be adjusted or titrated. The PCU RN is sometimes also called a step-down nurse, and the PCU is also known as cardiac stepdown, medical stepdown, neuro stepdown, surgical stepdown and ER holding.
As a PCU Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.PCU Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Because of the fast-paced environment, Progressive Care Unit RNs must possess good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

MV Transportation is seeking a Assistant General Manager who will provide support, leadership and direction to assigned operating location to ensure delivery of annual business plans. He/she will control the daily operation of our transportation contract, in compliance with the policies of the contracting agency and in conformance with company procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily activities of the fixed-route bus service.
- Coordinate and ensure that there is oversight and management of all bus operators, OCC staff, and field supervision staff.
- Provide overall assistance to the General Manager in maintaining the quality of service.
- Ensures performance indicators meet or exceed client and corporate expectations.
- Ensures division goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
- Ensures subordinate staff are well trained and being successful.

Talent Requirements:
- The Assistant General Manager of Operations shall provide oversight and direction of fixed route. The AGM shall possess at least eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience for operations in the transportation and logistics sector, of which two (2) years may be satisfied by an associate degree or other higher education or related training and certifications.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in the transit sector outside of Asheville within the last ten years, experience in Automated Vehicle Location (AVL)/ Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), dispatch, and in-service field supervision; demonstrate analytical capabilities necessary to meet the service and performance requirements of this RFP; and have worked in an environment with employees represented by a collective bargaining unit.
- Certifications according to local contract as required.
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Experience in development of runs, shift bids and run cuts.
- Strong organizational skills and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills including written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
- Strong supervision skills with ability to lead others to success.
- Ability to develop solutions to challenge through planning and implementation.

This is a 2nd Shift position: M-TH, 415pm to 245am
Summary: Welder position that involves the preparation, assembly, fitting, and weld of aerospace turbine components.
What You Will Learn: Working on the production line, you will produce blades and vanes as well as perform all quality checks. These positions require shift work and ability to work overtime when needed. You will perform TIG welding operations on aircraft components to meet NDT specifications and ensure efficient flow of work to meet production schedules and demands.
What You Will Do:
- Layout work requirements and obtain needed equipment to perform routine repair and alteration operations, inspect weld for bead sized and compliance with other specifications
- Blend, grind, or polish weld ensuring specified minimum wall requirement is met
- Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to measure repaired part and ensure dimensional requirements are met. Complete production paperwork
- Use and interpret complicated prints, drawings, and process sheets to perform a variety of layouts, as well as complete and sign work orders identifying the operations performed
- Perform standard hand and machine welding operations to fabricate or restore parts and tools where close tolerances are not normally required, and specifically defined criteria are used. Utilize black light process to determine extent of repairs required
- Build up finished machined surfaces and repair simple cracks and other routine imperfections. Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results
- Recognize need and arrange for repair or replacement of equipment used in performing the work as necessary. Perform routine servicing throughout the assigned area following specified procedures and written instructions such as an operator check list for upkeep and to assure equipment operates properly
- Assist others with new process tryout, and other specialized assignments
- This role will involve bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel and titanium and/or aerospace alloys less than 1/8\" thickness
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Manufacturing or aviation industry experience
- Associate's Degree in Welding, Welding Certificate, or other technical education
- Welding experience with nickel and cobalt alloys
