General Partner, mHUB Ventures
mHUB is seeking to hire 2 proven industry professionals with a successful track record in the hardtech / deep tech venture space to join the mHUB Ventures leadership team as a General Partner (GP) of a new early-stage venture fund. The GP will work directly with the other members of the leadership team to build and manage a $200M+ early-stage venture capital Fund focused on investing in Seed to Series B hardtech companies across energy, medtech, manufacturing, physical AI, quantum, and defense tech.
The GP will collaborate closely with the mHUB Ventures leadership team and board, and will play a pivotal role in developing the firm’s expanding investment platform with a traditional early-stage (Seed to Series B) strategy, including raising a series of Funds, driving investment decisions, cultivating relationships with aligned entrepreneurs and investors, and managing a team of investment professionals. The role will require proven investment acumen, the ability to develop new investment theses around industries of focus, and the ability to guide portfolio companies to success.
This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule and travel expected.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Work alongside leadership on high-impact, growth-related projects that will accelerate mHUB’s market leadership in the hardtech venture capital ecosystem, including the development and initiation of mHUB’s $200M+ Fund III and general early-stage strategy
- Support fundraising execution by fostering relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, strategic industry investors, and institutional investors
- Develop and expand a national and international co‑investor network of venture firms, corporate venture arms, strategic partners, and family offices to support deal syndication and follow‑on financing
- Independently source and manage deals with little day-to-day oversight from the firm’s Managing Partners
- Position the Fund as a national leader and market maker in hardtech investing through thought leadership, speaking engagements, published insights, and participation in industry panels
- Build iterative hypotheses by gathering and analyzing information from a wide variety of sources and leveraging findings to create actionable investment insights
- Leverage excellent stakeholder management skills, a network aligned with mHUB field of work, and the ability to foster relationships to support portfolio companies
- Lead deal due diligence, alongside the rest of the team, and drive deal execution for initial investments and follow-on investments
- Collaborate closely with mHUB’s accelerator, testbeds (M+, Energy, Datacenter), and corporate innovation programs to surface investable opportunities, pilots, and commercialization pathways
- Drive and deliver high-quality investment committee memos and presentations
- Organize and create relevant resources needed to provide ongoing support to portfolio companies
- Support in investor relations and general Fund administration, including LP reporting
- Take on board seats at the portfolio company level, as needed
- Monitor and actively manage the performance of portfolio companies
- Support portfolio companies' go-to-market strategy and attraction of co-investors
- All responsibilities are dynamic and evolve throughout the term based on priorities
Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years of operating experience and technical knowledge in the hardtech / deeptech ecosystem, with a preference towards energy, manufacturing, and/or medical devices.
- Strong academic credentials: graduate degree (MS, PhD, ME, etc.) with a technical focus
- Held a position as either an co-founder, entrepreneur or a leader in an innovation, strategy, and/or technical unit of a large corporation
- Deep technical expertise in engineering to properly diligence emerging technologies and solutions
- Commercial acumen with robust analytical skill and experience
- Strong knowledge of startup financing, portfolio construction, and deal modeling
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Deep passion for technology, investing, startups, and entrepreneurship
- Exemplary ability to lead, mentor, and retain a high-performing team
- Ability to quickly research, understand, and assimilate new technology sectors, regulations, and companies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Must be an Accredited Investor with the financial capability to be an LP in the Funds, allowing for the GP collectively to have 2%+ of each Fund’s aggregate commitments

Salary and Duration
The estimated salary range for this position is $200K-$225K plus carried interest and bonus incentives, commensurate with experience and market compensation. We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join the Global Learning team, with a strong focus on enabling enterprise HR technology transformations, including a Workday Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)/Human Capital Management (HCM) transition.
In this role, this individual will design, develop, and manage learning experiences that support large-scale system adoption, behavior change, and readiness across various employee populations.
Key responsibilities
The Instructional Designer – HR Technology & Workday Enablement is responsible for designing and developing learning experiences, including instructor-led and eLearning courses, microlearning, and job aids, while managing logistics and ensuring a smooth learning experience for participants.
This role goes beyond course development and requires comfort operating in complex, fast-moving transformation environments where requirements evolve and influence is critical.
• Design and deliver learning solutions that support HR technology transformations (e.g., Workday HCM, Payroll, Talent), including role-based enablement for end users, people leaders, HR partners, and support teams
• Partner closely with HR, HRIS, IT, Change Management, Communications, and vendor teams to understand complex end-to-end process, translate system design, and future-state workflows into effective learning experiences for HR, Payroll, Manager, and all employee audiences

The Sales Associate will work in a supporting role to the Stylists and Assistant Store Manager in our Chicago store. This role will perform service tasks to support the customer experience, process shipment, prepare product for the sales floor, maintain visual, cleanliness, and safety standards in the stockroom and salesfloor, and execute operational tasks to support an overall excellent customer experience. We are looking for someone passionate about our brand, goal-oriented, and eager to support driving sales while being a strong team member and partner to the team.
What will you do?
- Support the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals.
- Stay up to date on our merchandise, events, promotions, policies, and services.
- Strategize and take initiative to increase individual and store productivity.
- Support the sales floor by greeting customers, manning checkout, and representing the M.M.Lafleur brand
- Follow and maintain all health and safety procedures of the store.
- Support with opening and closing duties when needed.
- Support tasks related to inventory management, merchandising, POS, tailoring, and company procedures.
- Maintain an organized and clean stockroom.
- Process stock transfers to ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Process shipment and assist with creating price tags, steaming, replenishment, and stockroom organization.
- Process damages, donations, returns and trade-ins per to support successful product flow.
- Assist with global company initiatives ship from store to package and process orders when needed.
- Maintain visual standards and store cleanliness to company expectations.
- Facilitate a culture of empowerment and respect among your team.
Who are you?
- You are passionate about organization and creating systems for optimal efficiency.
- You have 1-3 years stock to sales experience.
- You are responsible, reliable, and humble; you show up on time and ask questions when you're unclear.
- You have the ability to connect, feel empathy for, and interact easily with those around you. You know how to ask the right questions and give the right feedback.
- You are committed to an error-free world (e.g. no typos).
- You have a positive, can-do attitude! Nothing is above or below you.

- You can work Part-Time (approximately 12-20 hours per week).
- Physical Requirements:
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking.
- May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
- Frequent use of computers, steamers, and other technology necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
- Frequently lift/move up to 50lbs

- Hourly rate is $19.00, opportunity for incentives
