Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Case Manager, your role will be to support patients and families through every step of their care journey. You will coordinate services, connect resources, and develop care plans that reflect each patient’s unique needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, developing a plan of care, and implementing and evaluating care. As a member of the interdisciplinary care team, you will work collaboratively with the other members to assure the safe and accurate delivery of care.

- You will formulate a plan of care, revise the plan based on the patient’s response to treatment and regularly evaluate plan for effectiveness
- You will consult and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate and revise the plan of care to meet the patient’s needs and goals
- You will administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
- You will delegate work appropriately to non-licensed staff in accordance with standards of practice
- You will provide pre- and post-operative patient care
- You will provide education materials to patients and families on care and treatments
- You will facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team

Requirements

Experience

- 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Education

Summary:

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is a 460+ bed, multi-specialty, acute care hospital. St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas, located at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, is recognized by the State of Texas as a Level IV Maternal Facility. This means it provides the highest level of care for pregnant and postpartum patients, especially those with serious or complex medical, surgical, or pregnancy-related conditions, including those at high risk for maternal morbidity or mortality. The center includes a 95+ bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 30+ private rooms, 10+ rooms for very small babies, and 10+ beds for babies needing neurological care. It also has 35+ labor, delivery, and recovery rooms, including Central Texas’ first low-intervention birthing suites with tubs. There are 95+ postpartum beds, 20+ antepartum beds, and Cesarean section surgical suites. The facility offers 24/7 neonatology coverage, OB/GYN hospitalists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, lactation consultants, and a midwifery program. It is part of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development Maternal-Fetal Medicine Units Network and TexasAIM, and it also provides a high-risk pregnancy navigation and support program.

St. David's Surgical Hospital is part of St. David’s North Austin Medical Center and is the first Level 4 Epilepsy Center in Central Texas for both adults and children. It has its own 24-hour emergency department, a medical-surgical inpatient unit, and a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) for patients ages 17 and under. The hospital is staffed with pediatric emergency physicians, pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, and other specialists who are specially trained to care for children. It also includes certified child-life specialists who help kids feel more comfortable during their hospital stay. St. David’s Children’s Hospital offers many pediatric services, such as pediatric surgery, pediatric radiology (including imaging and interventional procedures), and pediatric anesthesia for surgical support. Our biotech client is seeking a Communications Project Manager to support Corporate Communications and R&D Communications in a part-time freelance capacity.

This is an ongoing 20 hours/week role with an expected duration of 6 months, with potential to extend. This position is fully remote and you will be reporting directly to the VP, Enterprise Communications.

The Communications Project Manager will serve as an operational and organizational engine for two fast-moving communications teams. This role ensures projects progress on schedule, leadership receives accurate and timely reporting, and executive-ready materials are consistently delivered. Responsibilities

• Compile weekly project updates for the VP to support executive staff meeting discussions.

• Build quarterly business reviews (QBRs), consolidating inputs from multiple workstreams into executive-ready presentations.
• Create and update executive briefing books (1-2 per week), synthesizing complex information into clear, strategic narratives.
