Urgent Care TX Family Practice is open 7:30am-7:30pm hours on Monday, thru Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The NP/PA has the knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities to include symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
The NP/PA assesses the physical condition of patients by performing and obtaining comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and medical histories. The NP/PA Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care needs to determine treatment, orders medication and other forms of treatment.
The NP/PA Prescribes, recommends, and/or employs medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatments and procedures in accordance with approved protocols/policy and with attention to efficacy, safety, and cost. Recommends interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks.
The NP/PA Formulates and implements comprehensive outcomes-based patient care plans based on patient assessments, scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.
The NP/PA evaluates the patient's response to the health care provided and the effectiveness of care. The NP/PA Maintains appropriate records detailing the patient's treatment plans and outcomes. The NP/PA initiates timely consultation and referral when the problem exceeds scope of practice and/or expertise.
Perform DOT Physicals
Provides Health Coaching and Education as an integral part of all patient care
Participates in quality of care process reviews
Recommends potential growth for new and/or existing services
Increase utilization of clinic services by interacting with the employee population on a regular basis
Orders clinical supplies for the clinic
Manages relationship with outside lab vendor

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant in an Urgent Care or ER Setting

The PA Surgical Specialty - Non-Operative is a licensed, certified, non-physician healthcare provider. They render direct patient care and have delegated prescriptive authority. They are credentialed, privileged, and billed as an independent provider, recognized by Medicare and Medicaid. The Advanced Practice Provider provides medical care based on the scope of practice set by the supervising physician.
Surgical providers care for adult and pediatric patients. They specialize in General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Cosmetic, Vascular, Trauma, Transplant, Urology, Plastics, or other specialties.
Essential Functions of the Role

Summary
Performs highly complex planning and research work. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Assists in the execution of all planning functions for the Workforce Board. Identifies gaps in services and secures appropriate revenue. Assists with policy development; conducts planning, research, and labor market analysis; supports identification of the Board’s annual Target Occupations List; prepares reports; delivers community presentations; assists with grant writing; and collaborates on documents for agency partners, under the direct supervision of the Planning Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of the annual and long-term strategic and program planning processes, including input from management, internal subject matter experts, and the Workforce Development Board and Committees.
- Identifies appropriate competitive sources of revenue and assists in the development of grant applications by the Board. Tracks submission of reports required by the funding entity.
- Manages the process of providing letters of support for community organizations upon their request, including developing the letters, obtaining management approval, and tracking requests and responses.
- Assists in analyzing labor market information, including the Boards annual Target Occupations List, for the Board and workforce stakeholders. Provides input on the potential of specific occupational or skills training to result in placement and living wage outcomes.
- Develops Scope of Work statements for the purpose of procurement of services and ensures document completion.

About the Role
We’re seeking Master’s-level professionals who feel confident facilitating groups, collaborating closely with therapists, and thriving in a part-time, fully remote telehealth environment.
Clinicians at Charlie Health begin making a difference on day one, working alongside a highly skilled therapy team to translate psychoeducation into meaningful, real-world change for clients. While each team member brings unique strengths and experience, all staff are expected to be fluent across multiple modalities. Our clients face complex behavioral and emotional challenges, and we’re looking for group facilitators who are deeply aligned with Charlie Health’s mission to provide life-saving mental health treatment.
Responsibilities
- Complete all Onboarding requirements within 2 weeks of start date
- Check-in with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director at a minimum of 1x/month
- Respond to all email and Slack communication promptly (within 48 hours)
- Review the curriculum aligned to group assignment prior to group start time
- Arrive ~10 minutes early to scheduled group time and facilitate all groups for the entirety of the hour
- Facilitate groups using the current Charlie Health curriculum and best practices
- Facilitate groups across age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing and Wellness Hour as needed
- Foster client engagement and group cohesion, encouraging client participation and fostering camera-on culture
- Following all operational policies and procedures as indicated by Charlie Health best practices
- Participate in collaborative Therapy Treatment Team (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers and other Clinical Leadership team members
- Collaborate closely with Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists and Care Coaches
- Communicate professionally and promptly with all clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents
- Monitor your treatment documentation to ensure all of your notes are completed within required 24 hour timeframe and meet agency and professional standards per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards
- Demonstrate professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentiality

Requirements
- Availability to work weeknights (3-8pm MT on Monday to Thursday) and Saturdays
