The Opportunity

As a dedicated Property Adjuster Specialist , you will work within established guidelines and framework to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. Property Adjuster Specialist focus on using technology and desk adjusting for a virtual first approach to inspections and claims handling. What you'll do:
  • Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of complex damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage including potential legal liability.

  • Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate complex claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.

  • Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources. May identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential resulting from unusual characteristics.

  • Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate. Determines coverage through analyzing information involving complex policy terms and contingencies.

  • Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process.

The Store Leader-Hourly makes discretionary decisions involving all sales initiatives, operational effectiveness, marketing, scheduling, employment, and all other aspects of the day-to-day business processes of a GameStop store. This position supervises a combination of associates including an Assistant Store Leader, Senior Game Advisors and Game Advisors, which may vary based upon store size, location, and expected sales volume.

Selling Passion

  • Enjoy active selling, including exploring and creating guest needs and closing the sale. Demonstrate a passion for exceeding goals.
  • Provide world-class guest service: promptly greet guests, respond to and handle guest concerns quickly, effectively and courteously; align guest needs with GameStop products which meet the needs of the guest; recommend additional items as appropriate; and ensure every guest is thanked for shopping at GameStop; ensure all store associates consistently provide world-class guest service.

Solution Selling Focus

  • Drive sales and guest loyalty by creating complete, lasting guest solutions. Demonstrate unique interest in every guest. Ask questions and makes recommendations in order to make technology easier and more affordable for every guest.
  • Ensure the use of Solution Selling techniques to align guest needs with GameStop products, the recommendation of additional items as appropriate, and ensure every guest is thanked for shopping at GameStop.
  • Support the total shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, and the guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business.

  • Respond rapidly, accurately, and consistently to all of the operational requirements essential for creating exceptional and profitable guest experiences in a consistently clean, neat, and well organized store.
  • Schedule store associates to achieve optimum guest service levels, and delegate store tasks to ensure proper completion in an environment that puts the guest first.
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with store associates, other Store Leaders, the store support center, and multi-unit leaders to ensure that all GameStop store initiatives are implemented according to plan.
  • Protect company assets through effective inventory control and loss prevention practices.
  • Ensure that all areas of the store are clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines and all store fixtures and equipment are in proper working order.
  • Count, balance and reconcile daily business transaction totals correctly and accurately in the POS system.
  • Manage all in-store merchandising activity and stock levels; communicate all shortages, record discrepancies and out of stock issues to the District Leader and Regional Loss Prevention Leader

Basic And Preferred Qualifications (Education And/Or Experience)

Must be at least 18 years of age and present state-required proof of age documents

Three or more years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience required; at least 1 year of retail management experience preferred

Must be able to work alone and move throughout the store unassisted, for extended periods (up to 12 hours per day)

Must be able to lift and/or move objects and displays (up to 20 lbs.), bend, stoop, reach with arms and hands, and climb on ladders

Summary

RNDC is looking for a talented and energetic Warehouse Production Supervisor for the Night Shift, to join our growing Operations team. The Warehouse Production Supervisor directly supervises and coordinates the activities of shift warehouse associates during the night shift. Duties and responsibilities include assigning people and equipment within the warehouse to complete the picking, handling, and loading of customer's orders in time for the next day's deliveries. Orders need to be pulled and loaded on trucks quickly and accurately with minimal breakage.

In This Role, You Will

Plan work assignments and equipment allocation to meet production goals.

Schedule associates across case pick, bottle pick, truck loading, and replenishment responsibilities for optimum workload balance.

Release and monitor waves as products are picked and loaded, responding quickly to any issues in case or bottle pick areas.

As staffing needs require, step in quickly and effectively to cover warehouse worker responsibilities.

Where applicable, oversee the daily use of warehouse technology (WMS) as well as picking technology (voice picking) to ensure proper use and compliance with picking standards.

Ensure warehouse safety and housekeeping procedures are followed.

Plan and execute ongoing cross-training program to ensure workforce is flexible, and able to respond to unexpected shortages during the shift.

Continuously improve knowledge and skills. Stay current with developments within the manufacturing and distribution field and share expertise with others.

Assist in the setting of process improvement goals for warehouse employees to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Provide safety tips and recognize associates for working safely.

Oversee inspections of material handling equipment; ensure equipment is properly maintained. Promptly escalate any mechanical issues in order to minimize downtime.

What You Bring To RNDC

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5-7 years previous Warehouse Management experience. Experience with Manhattan Labor Management and Warehouse Management, as well as experience leading and implementing changes in processes and systems are a plus.
