Knowledge / Experience

• 10+ years of experience in aerospace structural design.

• Strong proficiency in CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Well versed with composite modelling best practices and design principles.
• Deep understanding of both composite and metallic structures.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Controller / Planner to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is critical in ensuring seamless production operations, accurate inventory management, and effective scheduling to meet customer demands and revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, inventory control, and master scheduling within an ERP environment, with a keen eye for detail and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Production Orders (POs), including reviewing commit files from CMs and updating delivery dates and quantities as needed.
• Review material shortages with CMs and expedite materials internally and externally to prevent production delays.
• Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for assigned product lines in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders.

• Create and manage build plans, balancing sales orders, forecasts, capacity, and labor constraints.
• Manage jobs in the ERP system, prioritize sales orders, establish alternate BOMs as needed, and monitor job completions.
• Act as a key member of the Focus Factory Team, reporting metrics and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Identify and manage exceptions such as material shortages, late jobs, and quality issues.
• Work closely with stockroom and production teams to ensure on-time shipments and clear communication with Sales and Customer Service.
• Schedule all sales orders for assigned product lines, providing accurate ship dates and collaborating on expedite requests and schedule changes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and standardize best practices across sites and divisions.
• Develop Excel reports, templates, or macros to streamline planning functions.
• Manage change orders and corrective/preventive actions for assigned products.
• Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Track and manage inventory levels for assigned product lines.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration/Operations, or related field, preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience (with a relevant bachelor's degree) OR minimum 5 years of experience (without a relevant bachelor's degree).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (AX, Baan, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (reporting, templates, macros).
• Experience with process improvement and change management, preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; able to collaborate effectively across functions and with external partners.

The Material Review Board (MRB) Engineer supports manufacturing of composite fan cowl structures for the build-to-print program. The role evaluates production non-conformances, provides MRB dispositions, ensures quality compliance, and drives continuous improvement.

Job Description:

Review and disposition of non-conforming composite parts during manufacturing.

Support MRB process and provide engineering assessments for rework or use-as-is dispositions.

Review Quality Check Review (QCR) documentation for compliance with drawings and standards.

Work with design, stress, quality, and production teams to confirm disposition integrity.

Lead root cause and corrective/preventive actions for recurring nonconformances.

Maintain accurate MRB and QCR documentation in internal systems.

Analyze MRB trends and recommend process or tooling improvements.

Support PFMEA, control plans, and process capability studies.

Ensure compliance with AS9100, ‘NADCAP, and customer manufacturing requirements.

Provide technical guidance and training to shop-floor and inspection teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.

5+ years of aerospace MRB or manufacturing engineering experience in composites.

Knowledge of composite lay-up, bonding, curing, and inspection processes.

Experience with non-conformance analysis, MRB systems, and QCR documentation.

Job Summary:

The Subsurface Analyst will join a highly trained team of field specialists responsible for identifying and designating critical subsurface utilities and structural embeds within concrete structures. This role supports safe excavation and construction activities by providing accurate, non-destructive investigations of underground infrastructure.

This position operates within the discipline of non-destructive testing (NDT) and utilizes advanced technologies including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), electromagnetic (EM) pipe locators, and other specialized scanning tools. In addition to performing field investigations, the Subsurface Analyst will capture and document findings to create a digital representation of previously unknown subsurface infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform investigative scanning activities on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure job sites.
• Collect and analyze field data to designate structural embeds including rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, and other structural elements.
• Locate underground utilities such as sewer, water, communications, gas, and electrical lines.
• Travel as required for training and service support.
• Accurately mark scanned areas in accordance with Penhall’s Standard Marking Protocol.
• Complete comprehensive field documentation including reports, sketches, and photographic records.
• Partner with site personnel to review and confirm project scope prior to beginning work.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding technology capabilities, limitations, and recommended solutions.
• Explain investigation results, safety considerations, and recommended next steps to customers.
• Conduct pre-job and post-job inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions.

• OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification preferred (may be obtained after hire)

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling on job sites
