Job Overview

This position supports the weekend AM shift as part of a rapidly growing U.S. medical device manufacturing operation.

Workers are paid for 40 hours/week due to the weekend premium.


Position Summary

The Associate Manufacturing Technician plays a key role in operating and maintaining advanced automated equipment used to manufacture a flagship medical device product. The technician will be trained to operate and troubleshoot a wide range of technologies including:

  • Heat staking
  • Laser welding
  • Mechanical assembly
  • PCB handling and testing
  • Robotic automation
  • Metal stamping & forming
  • Medical packaging systems
  • High-speed component assembly

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and comfort working in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and basic preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain raw material feeds and clear equipment faults/stoppages.
  • Use Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to make process adjustments.
  • Prepare and maintain raw materials to ensure on-time production.
  • Create work orders for emergency, corrective, or preventive maintenance.
  • Track inventory and support quality processes using computer systems.
  • Support new product introductions, equipment validations, and process improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve equipment or process-related issues.
  • Perform routine equipment cleaning, inspection, and lubrication.
  • Use measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify tolerances.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanroom and medical-device-grade work environments.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Education & Experience

Preferred:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience (training provided for qualified candidates)


Required Skills

  • Proficiency in English (reading documentation, communication, writing)
  • Basic math skills (arithmetic, geometry, algebra)

BMF is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Precision Manufacturing Engineering Lead to join and guide our growing team. In this leadership role, you will oversee and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, driving excellence across our precision additive manufacturing operations and customer applications.


This is a hands-on leadership position where you will not only direct and develop the team but also work directly with BMF’s precision additive manufacturing systems. You’ll be actively engaged in running, maintaining, and optimizing the printers, including those configured for ceramic materials, to ensure process consistency, quality, and efficiency across all production activities.


You will play a key role in advancing our applications expertise, pushing the boundaries of ceramic and polymer 3D printing materials, and ensuring that all production and application development efforts meet the rigorous standards required for a precision manufacturing environment. This position combines hands-on technical execution, materials understanding, strategic leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent, high-quality, and compliant results.


As the Precision Manufacturing Engineering Lead, you will:


  • Hands-On Production & Workflow Management: Actively operate, maintain, and optimize BMF’s 3D printer fleet at the Maynard, MA facility—including systems dedicated to ceramic and other advanced materials. Manage daily print operations, production scheduling, and throughput while ensuring quality control, compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and adherence to precision manufacturing practices. Lead by example through hands-on engagement in production activities. Develop and optimize 3D printing parameters and processes to achieve precise, repeatable, and high-quality outcomes across ceramics, polymers, and composite materials.


  • Leadership & Best Practices: Lead and supervise the Applications Engineering team, setting priorities, allocating resources, and fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Maintain and enforce best practices essential for a precision manufacturing environment, ensuring all processes, documentation, and production protocols uphold the highest standards of accuracy, repeatability, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements beyond ISO frameworks.


  • Materials Integration: Design and execute experiments to evaluate and qualify both internally developed and third-party materials—including ceramic resins and specialty formulations—for use on BMF systems. Drive materials innovation and integration to expand the range of applications and performance capabilities.


  • Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with the Sales Team to address unique customer challenges, translating technical insights into practical solutions. Communicate directly with customers to ensure alignment, satisfaction, and long-term success.


  • Industry Insights: Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving use cases in precision ceramics and additive manufacturing. Leverage this knowledge to guide strategic direction, ensure compliance with evolving regulations, and maintain BMF’s leadership in micro-precision 3D printing.


Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience printing with ceramic materials and an understanding of their behavior, post-processing requirements, and design considerations.

The Opportunity:

As an industrial controls technician for our corrugated packaging plant, you will work to keep our equipment up and running to OEM standards. You will use your expertise and experience to work with maintenance leadership, our operators, vendors & corporate reliability team to ensure maximum uptime and help us safely meet our production goals. How you will help us:

  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • Provide electrical and automation controls troubleshooting, support and predictive, preventive and emergency maintenance for our fast-paced corrugated packaging facility
  • Review key plant metrics/KPIs and equipment data to identify potential areas for continuous improvement and lead a team to implement solutions
  • As priorities demand, performing emergency breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
  • including preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.

What you will need to succeed:

  • A strong understanding of PLC, VFD and HMI/OIT software, previous and current versions. A successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical controls systems, mechanical drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, PC’s, Robotics, and Controls networks.
  • The ability to reference equipment manuals & similar literature.

Position Summary:


The RT Vent Field Clinician is a Respiratory Therapist providing respiratory patient care to Vent patients for optimal outcomes. Provides respiratory care to patients in alternate sites in accordance with AdaptHealth’s policies and procedures. Respiratory care will be preventative, rehabilitative, and palliative in nature. The RT will utilize all the resources available within the agency and community to accomplish care objectives. This position will provide education and care to the patient and communicate with team, physicians and referral sources and other patient agencies ensuring prompt attention to patient care issues. 


Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes various sources of information to attain greater competence about his or her position, including attending educational events (including attending optional in-services) and asking questions.
  • Utilizes acquired knowledge to increase his or her competencies.
  • Consistently demonstrates ability to adequately complete all documentation and charting procedures in compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Maintains complete and accurate patient files by updating all documents per company policy and procedures.

  • Ensures accuracy of prescriptions and plan of care was followed and documented. Also reviews delivery tickets, home inspection, ventilator check, and patient equipment competencies are complete and documented. 
  • Maintains proficient knowledge of ventilator patients including compliance software, new technology, units, and supplies supported by Adapthealth.
  • Ability to demonstrate and instruct on use of vent units and supplies. Ability to make decisions for patients based on compliance data and assessment.
  • Communicates with team, physicians and referral sources and other patient agencies ensuring prompt attention to patient care issues. 
  • Maintains working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and other third-party payer guidelines related to ventilation.

  • Inbound: Unload trucks, trailers, containers of freight, counting products, compare to manifest to check all shipments for damage, infestation, or production code dates. Material handlers must report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms. Also be able to sign for inbound shipments when necessary. All inbound shipments are moved safely to storage locations to be efficiently stacked as store merchandise.

  • Order Picking: Ensure that the correct product number, quantity and type (lot, batch, serial number) of product are picked. Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment such as but not limited to fork trucks, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks. Materials handlers must be able to label, stencil, tag, mark orders, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as required.

  • Outbound: Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure out-going shipments are complete and correct. Assign signature for outbound as necessary. Efficiently move product, cartons and or pallets into trailers, rail cars or containers.

  • Equipment: Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Comply with company standards and OSHA requirements.

  • Inventory: Keep accurate records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. May key inventory adjustments in computer.

  • Other Duties: Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Repair and consolidate damaged goods as required. Operate shrink-wrap machine. Charge forklift battery as needed; stack and or separate good from bad pallets when necessary; clean railcars, trailers, and truck docks, bays as requested.
