*Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.*Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, along with coordination and communication with other departments.*Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.*Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations. You bring: • A degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience (preferred) • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application • The ability to operate lawn care equipment and perform heavy lifting in all weather conditions • Strong problem-solving skills and the independence to work autonomously • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills to communicate effectively with clients • A valid Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator’s License—or the ability to obtain one • Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• A valid driver’s license (CDL a plus) Physical Requirements The physical demands of this role must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
While performing these duties, employees may be required to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and operate equipment in outdoor conditions.

Political Affairs Internship:
The role focuses on making poverty a focus of U.S., Canadian and U.K. foreign policy. This is a part-time 12-hours per week, 12 week, unpaid remote internship. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks.

Leading public and political outreach in your state and district.
Meeting with members of Congress/Government in your State/District/Constituency.
Representing The Borgen Project at various business, political and community events.
Assisting with fundraising. Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
Mobilizing individuals to contact their members of Government in support of key poverty-reduction legislation.
Speaking to groups, classes and organizations.
Writing letters of support for key programs to political leaders, media and other groups.
