Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Vehicle Management System (VMS) Requirements Engineer to join the VMS Requirements team located in Hazelwood, MO.

Join the VMS Requirements team to work across disciplines and help us design elements of the VMS Software Application. Position Responsibilities:
Develop software requirements and design for a Vehicle Management System (VMS)
Apply model-based system engineering techniques to design and verify system requirements
Interpret requirements to formulate and test mathematical models
Work with subject matter experts, design solutions for a variety of capabilities such as airplane subsystems (i.e. actuation), signal processing, redundancy management, system monitoring, and controls
Coordinate and integrate requirements across engineering disciplines
Verify and validate software against designed requirements in virtual and hardware test environments
Conduct analysis to support certification of a Vehicle Management System
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Boeing Defense Space & Security is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Systems Engineer to join us as part of our Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) In-Service and Project Engineering team located in Richardson, TX or Berkeley, MO.
The Advanced Airborne Sensor is a multi-function radar used on the P-8 Poseidon. The team is responsible for developing and performing engineering for production, sustainment, modification and improvements of military and commercial derivative aircraft. This position will work closely with the supply chain, suppliers, program manager, contracts, estimating, engineering, and/or customers to execute the program. In this role you integrate technical requirements and schedule demands with suppliers, coordinate engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product, manage a diverse set of projects, and lead proposal development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and day-to-day management of suppliers, including regular engagement with supply chain to monitor and improve supplier performance. Serve as Equipment Manager for multiple sub assemblies.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers, customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional peers.
- Communicate program status, key risks, issues, and opportunities to customers and leadership, and clearly articulate required support or decisions.
- Develop clear, compliant supplier statements of work (SSOW) for ongoing and new requirements, and lead execution to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.
- Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable delivery plans.
