Click here to learn more about our full benefits package JOB SUMMARY The Manager of Health Information Management (HIM) is responsible for the corporate strategic direction and operational performance of HIM, including coding, clinical documentation improvement, the release of information, transcription, chart completion, enterprise master patient index, document management, medical record integrity, CDM Maintenance, and information governance.
Ensures regulatory and legal compliance.
Serves as the Facility Privacy Officer and custodian of all medical records for the organization.
Monitors performance and evaluates employees in compliance with hospital policies.
Coordinating responsibility to the medical staff regarding medical record documentation issues.
This position is located on-site in Gillette, Wyoming.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Establishes, implements, and reviews goals and objectives for all direct reports.
Analyzes, selects, and implements programs necessary to achieve the hospital's goals and strategic plans.
Lead diverse teams to ensure compliance with State, Federal and local regulations.
Provides strategic direction, leadership and overall management oversight of Health Information Management (HIM) functions in a multi-facility setting with multiple departments, including scanning, and release of information functions.
Responsible for developing and maintaining effective policies, procedures, systems and working relationships with other departments, providers, external attorneys, regulatory and other reporting entities as well as Revenue Cycle and Quality/Risk.
Oversees HIM, CDM, Hospital and Physician Coding, and Clinical Documentation Improvement Managers and personnel to promote steady work flow, productivity, quality, timeliness, and attainment of system and departmental performance goals.
Works collaboratively and proactively with other department leaders, physicians and Hospital Leadership, using key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities, facilitating work groups, and implementing improvements in performance and outcomes.
Ensures the appropriate dissemination and communication of regulation, policy and guideline changes related to HIM, coding and clinical documentation.
Develops staff performance expectations, goals and metrics.
Measures and communicates achievement throughout the year, and makes operational adjustments as needed.
Develops operating and capital budgets for area of responsibility and monitors performance against budget, developing action plans as needed to address variances.
Responsible for all aspects of managing and leading a team including: interviewing, hiring, training, developing, directing work and processes, managing performance, recognizing, and rewarding employees.
Maintains confidentiality of all personnel and patient care and relations information.
Actively participates in Strategic Plans for the department and organization.
Actively participates in Customer/Guest Relations and Mandatory Education programs.
Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
Complies with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
Supervises the Certified Coder, Coder, Clinical Documentation Specialist, HIM Clerk Lead, Clerk, and Revenue Integrity Specialist.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
- Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
- Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
- Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.
- Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.
Qualifications:
GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
- Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
- Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
- Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:
- Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
- Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
- Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse (RN), under the direction of the Critical Care Manager and Clinical Supervisor, provides high-quality, patient- and family-centered care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). JOB SUMMARY
The Trauma Coordinator assesses, plans, and implements patient care while collaborating with other departments to ensure excellence in care aligned with Campbell County Health’s mission, vision, and values. This role integrates departmental improvement goals across the care continuum, coordinates and may delegate unit and patient care activities, and serves as a clinical expert. - Demonstrates competency in the duties of the ECD Registered Nurse.
- Develops and coordinates education for staff including ENPC and TNCC Course Coordinator
- Performs all duties for trauma registry data input, quality monitoring
- Serves as a technical resource by participating in trauma care, assisting with establishment of priorities, assessment, planning, interventions of trauma care
- Participates in planning, developing, organizing, and evaluating outcomes for the trauma program
- Coordinates nursing aspects of the trauma program with nurse manager and CNO
- Provides service excellence to all customers.

- Maintains professional standards related to clinical practice, staffing and continuing education.

JOB SUMMARY
The Counselor provides clinical assessment/problem identification, crisis interventions, individual, family and group therapy and case management. Develops and monitors treatment plans, monitors treatment progress, documents significant interactions, and maintains clinical charts and other reporting data. Must be licensed or provisionally licensed and requires a Master’s degree in a mental health field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for behavioral health clients.
- Provides clinically appropriate therapy, utilizing best practices whenever possible.
- Is actively engaged in the department, solves problems, participates in strategic planning, and contributes positively to workplace moral.
- As assigned by manager and location participates in on call crisis rotation after hours and assists with walk-in crises during business hours.
- Works positively and collaboratively with courts, law enforcement, physicians, hospital staff, Department of Family Services, Probation Offices, Campbell County School District and other community agencies as applicable.
- Maintains clinical documentation in a manner as required by department policy, the Standards for the Operation of Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs, and the Medicaid Policies and Procedures Manual, and in accordance, as applicable with SAMHSA TIPS and TAPS.
- Maintains competence in multicultural issues and demonstrates respect and understanding for people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Adheres to established policies and procedures for Behavioral Health services, Kid Clinic and Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
- Actively engages in departmental quality assurance and utilization management activities and processes to include monthly chart reviews.
- Provides community-based psychotherapy to individuals, groups and families as applicable.
- Maintains professional licensure through required educational and training experiences.
- Participates in activities to promote mental health and/or the prevention of substance abuse.
