Required Skills
* The clinical trial nurse is required to have comprehensive knowledge in all areas of protocol design, strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, ability to navigate fast-paced hospital environments, manage multiple studies, excellent communication and patient education abilities, knowledge of federal regulations (FDA, OHRP), ICH-GCP guidelines, and HIPAA, proficient in EMRs and clinical research platforms (e.g., Epic, REDCap, Medidata, OnCore).
* Must be knowledgeable in internet access to manage clinical trials case report forms.
* Proficient with computerized and manual data collection.
* Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet computer programs.

Qualifications
· Active or eligible for California medical licens
· ABIM board certification in Infectious Diseases
· Strong communication skills
· Experienced in leading policy and protocol development and implementation for hospital epidemiology and infection prevention and control with a special focus on cancer patients.
· Experience in transplant infectious disease - program that is heavily focused toward immunocompromised host infections (hematologic malignancy/ HCT)
· 1-2 years working within hematologic malignancies *preferred but not required
