THE OPPORTUNITY

Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site (not virtual) position at our offices in Wallingford, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be a shared administrative resource for the Senior Vice President and six other Vice Presidents supporting all administrative tasks as well as assisting the executive assistants of the CEO and CFO as needed. The ability to anticipate, organize and summarize a high level of sensitive information is critical. Must be a self-starter who demonstrates flexibility, resourcefulness, and have the ability to work independently, as well as under pressure in a team environment. A high degree of confidentiality and professionalism plus attention to detail is required for someone to be successful.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with other Executive Assistants in a deadline driven environment.
• Maintain executive’s calendar and plan, arrange, and schedule travel for company events, conferences, group or large company meetings and appointments as assigned.
• Compile and submit executive expense reports.
• Help manage logistics of department meetings and provide on-site meeting support throughout the year.
• Compile information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials and prepare charts, graphs, and tables as necessary; satisfy multiple ad hoc reporting requests from executives.
• Prepare presentations, business communications, data summaries, and other documents to support the finance related departments and company business decisions and initiatives.
• Complete ad-hoc data requests; compile data from multiple sources.
• Receive and respond to correspondence, take initiative and follow established procedures without management review.
• Assist with special projects and assignments such as key meetings, conferences and special events, including offsite planning sessions, budget preparation and presentations.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S Preferred or equivalent work experience
• Previous secretarial and administrative experience.
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office tools, as well as advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, multi-tasking, oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate flexibility, initiative, good judgment, resourcefulness, sense of urgency and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills.
• Advanced attention to detail, results-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Must be able to provide timely, high-quality and accurate work product.
• Ability to occasionally work overtime on short notice.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift Detail: A 24 hour day position: Two twelve hour day shifts every third weekend and holiday. 12- week self-scheduling, eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus

The Respiratory Care Practitioner administers respiratory therapy to assist, control and/or improve patients' breathing. Administers oxygen and other medical gases, aerosolized medications, positive pressure breathing devices, ventilators, resuscitation devices, etc. Performs pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments and performs additional related duties as assigned or necessary.

If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:  

• Associate degree preferred
• Certified Hospice Nurse (CHPN) preferred
• Three+ years' experience in hospice, home health, general medical surgery, oncology, or patient population-specific nursing (i.e., geriatrics, pediatric, etc.)
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
• Possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role (preferred)  
• Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations  
• Meet the regulations and requirements of the state(s) in which the program provides services  

Responsibilities:   

As a Hospice Registered Nurse Team Director, you will: 

• Supervise direct patient and family care team members, in collaboration with program site leadership
• Responsible for scheduling , payroll, and other administrative duties
• Ensure all initial assessments and required reassessments are conducted by qualified team members within required time frames, including documentation submissions, and/or synchonization
• Oversee and support the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) in development, implementation, and review of the interdicisiplinary plan of care for each patient and family
• Collaborate with program site leadership memebrs to monitor, manage, and mentor staff in patient care activities, productivity, and documentation per related policies and protocols
• Pariticpates and promotes Back to Bedside efforts in reinforcing Case Management skills, and knowledge and attitude per protocol for all disciplines
• Collaborate with site leadership to support staff education efforts
• Facilitates IDG meetings and provides ongoing IDG Support such as triaging incoming calls, provides caller support and assistance, and performs quality calls
• Participates in or lead quality improvement activities, including data collection and aggregation as able
• Reinforces and supports all internal and external communications
