As a dedicated Senior Property Adjuster, you will work within defined guidelines and framework, investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. What you'll do:
Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of claims with moderate complexity damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage.
Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate moderate complexity claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.
Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources. May identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential resulting from unusual characteristics.
Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate. Determines coverage through analyzing investigation information involving moderate complexity policy terms and contingencies.
Determines and negotiates moderate complexity claims settlement. Develops recommendations and collaborates with management for determining settlement amounts outside of authority limits and accurately manages claims outcomes.
Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process.
Applies proficient knowledge of estimating technology platforms and virtual inspection tools; Utilizes platforms and tools to prepare claims estimates to manage moderate complexity property insurance claims.
Applies working knowledge of industry standards of inspection, damage mitigation and restoration techniques.
Serves as an informal resource for team members.
Recognizes and addresses jurisdictional challenges such as applicable legislation and construction considerations.
Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.
May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.
Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.

May need to travel up to 50% of the year (local & non-local) and/or work catastrophe duty when needed.

The focus of this role would be on improving potency, reducing OTEs and creating new IP for Aro's siRNA design. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of how to generate novel and testable oligonucleotide designs to contribute to oligonucleotide-based therapeutic discovery. The position will require hands-on laboratory work. Close collaboration with other members of the Aro team across protein engineering, chemistry and biology is essential. About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Electrical department in our Philadelphia office. This role will manage a variety of projects from concept to completion, and will work with upper management on staff development, firm marketing, and efforts to sustain and develop business at JB&B.
Key Responsibilities
- Works with their Department Leader to develop conceptual design for projects and guides their team through project completion.
- Acts as the day-to-day Client point of contact on their projects.
- Manages and reviews all project-related documents and ensures timely and accurate implementation.
- Responsible for project deliverables both technically and functionally.
- Presents and explains project designs confidently at internal and external meetings.
- Coordinates and updates the project team regularly to meet design expectations and deadlines.
- Initiates and manages design changes, proposals, and approvals.
- Successfully executes multiple fit-out/renovation projects and/or large/complex projects from concept to completion.
- Prepares technical letters/memos addressing project design issues and code interpretations.
- Presents and explains project designs confidently in internal and external meetings.
- Communicates effectively with project teams managing issues, and deliverables for project success
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-14 years of engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Proficient in all design calculations and software tools (e.g., Revit and AutoCAD) applicable to your discipline
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of trade-specific scope of project, trade-related codes, and the required coordination with other trades
- Strong understanding of documentation requirements and content for each deliverable phase (e.g., SD, DD, CD and specifications)

Estimated compensation range: $1610,000-$184,000 base salary per year

Key Responsibilities
- Detailed Bid Analysis: Thoroughly review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities, accurately calculating material quantities, labor hours, and equipment needs for comprehensive cost estimations.
- Subcontractor Management: Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to secure competitive pricing and establish strong working relationships, negotiating contract terms and conditions.
- Cost Breakdown: Develop detailed cost breakdowns for all project elements, including earthwork, grading, drainage, concrete structures, paving, and utilities, ensuring accuracy in estimating labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project scope, site conditions, and market fluctuations, incorporating contingency planning into estimates.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare clear and concise bid proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns, project schedules, and technical specifications, aligning with client requirements.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize construction estimating software to generate accurate cost calculations, quantity takeoffs, and project reports.

- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of estimating and cost control techniques.

- Previous experience in construction project management and preparation of cost estimates using Excel, B2W Estimate, HCSS HeavyBid, etc…
