Responsibilities
Lead the development of automated test equipment systems for functional, environmental qualification, and manufacturing acceptance tests
Analyze test results to identify failure modes, lead root cause investigations, and drive improvements back into designs
Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful testing campaigns

Basic Success Criteria
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
8+ years of full cycle electronics hardware test or development experience in a professional environment
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals
Extensive experience with test equipment, measurement techniques, and processes for hardware verification
Experience with programming/scripting languages (C, C++, Python) and ability to develop and maintain test software

As a Sr. Flight Guidance Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control team. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of the guidance system, and your work will enable the integration of uncrewed aircraft into the National Airspace System.
Responsibilities
Define guidance system capabilities and requirements in collaboration with operations and pilot teams
Design guidance system features to integrate with flight control systems and pilot displays
Implement flight guidance algorithms in simulation and flight software
Reduce and analyze simulation, lab, and flight test data
Evaluate guidance system performance and behavior via simulation, hardware-in-loop, and flight test cases
Basic Success Criteria
MS in aerospace engineering, robotics, or equivalent field
8+ years professional experience developing guidance or motion planning algorithms for real-time vehicle systems
Professional C/C++ and Python software development experience
Excellent ability to communicate system behavior to end users
Preferred Criteria
PhD in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar advanced degree
Technical expertise in one of the following areas: motion planning, control systems, probability theory, optimization
Experience developing software for safety critical applications
Experience with Flight Management System certification
Current pilot, instrument or commercial rating

As a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you will develop the physics-based models that enable rapid iteration and certification-grade validation of GNC software. You will perform simulation analysis and assess correlation with real-world data to demonstrate that the models are representative of the actual system.
Responsibilities
Develop physics-based models representative of aircraft dynamics (aerodynamics, ground reactions, actuator models, etc.)
Identify, request, and analyze flight tests necessary to inform modeling
Conduct closed-loop testing of flight control systems with simulated aircraft dynamics
Develop tools for visualizing and analyzing simulation and flight data
Perform validation of simulation models against flight test data
Basic Success Criteria
BS in aerospace engineering, robotics, or related field
5+ years experience with aerodynamics, flight dynamics simulation, and system identification
Experience with Python, C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Linux-based development environments and scripting
Experience with developing validated physics-based models as well as integration and testing of these models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Criteria
MS or PhD in aerospace engineering, robotics, or related field
Experience with high fidelity physics-based aircraft or other complex simulation systems
Current pilot, instrument or commercial ratings
GNC Modeling and Simulation is a key company capability that enables rapid design iteration and scalable design validation covering the massive combinatorial space of flight envelope and atmospheric conditions. In this role, you will directly contribute to the development of scalable, realistic virtual worlds that power the training and validation of robotic foundation models for perception, planning, and manipulation.
At GM’s manufacturing technology development team, you’ll work closely with robotics and AI teams within the Manufacturing Technology Development (MTD) team to create simulation scenes that replicate complex manufacturing environments, generate diverse synthetic datasets, and build robust data workflows that accelerate model development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities • Build and customize simulation scenes in Isaac Sim that accurately reflect real-world robotic tasks and factory layouts • Develop synthetic data generation pipelines, including randomized object placement, sensor simulation, and multi-modal annotations (RGB, depth, segmentation, point clouds) • Implement and maintain data processing workflows, ensuring data quality, traceability, and compatibility with ML training pipelines • Optimize simulation performance and realism, tuning physics parameters, asset fidelity, and rendering configurations for scalable experimentation • Collaborate with robotics engineers and ML scientists to align simulation outputs with model requirements and support sim2real transfer • Conduct hands-on testing and debugging, iterating on simulation setups and synthetic data strategies to improve model robustness • Document workflows and contribute to best practices, enabling reproducibility and knowledge sharing across teams Required Qualifications • MSc or PhD in Robotics, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, or related field • 3+ years of hands-on experience in robotics simulation, synthetic data generation, or virtual environment development • Proficiency with Isaac Sim, Omniverse, or similar simulation platforms • Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with experience in simulation APIs and data annotation tools • Familiarity with 3D vision, sensor modeling, and domain randomization techniques • Experience integrating simulation outputs into ML pipelines for training and evaluation Preferred Qualifications • Experience with robotics frameworks (e.g., ROS/ROS2, MoveIt, Nav2) • Experience with robotics simulation platforms (e.g., IsaacSim, MoJoCo, Gazebo) or Game engine (e.g., Unreal, Unity) • Background in industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, or robotic manipulation • Publications or contributions in simulation, synthetic data, or robotics venues (e.g.
