Candidates will be responsible for running and cleaning multiple pieces of equipment which include the cheese molders, cooker, DMC and brine system.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
1. Ability to start-up, maintain sanitation, perform CIP, shutdown and operate machinery. Also to include troubleshooting machinery when needed.
2. Monitors key processing indicators such as time, temperature, pH, moisture and weight.
3. Maintains production in a continuous flow operation.
4. Will be in control of daily production and sanitation paperwork; filling it out properly and making comments of any non-compliance results.
5. Ensures Food Safety and Security as required per the Plant's GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GSP (Good Sanitation Practices) Policy and Procedures.
6. Performs other work duties as requested by the Mozzarella Production Supervisor.
7. Responsible for working efficiently and safely to produce a high quality product.

Focuses on production, quality and people. Identifies, investigates and works to solve problems that arise. Works closely with department employees and reports any issues to Ricotta Production Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Ensures department is running in a smooth and efficient manner.2. Assist operators in set up and start of production.3. Ensures quality control checks are being performed by the departmental employees.4. Verifies proper recipes are being used for production.5. Completes and maintains appropriate paperwork/reports.6. Verifies operator logs each hour with signature.7. Verifies that moisture checks are being performed on all lots.8. Tours entire room on a half-hour basis.9. Ensures sufficient manpower is scheduled for next day's activities. Make adjustments if necessary.10. Ensure that there are sufficient supplies (salt, stabilizer, Vitamin A, etc.) for the day.11. Maintains employee records including attendance, and write-ups as needed. 12. Maintains an open line of communication with all employees in ricotta department.13. Identify, investigate and work to solve any problems that arise in the department. 14. Ensure all department employees adhere to all GMP and QC policies when in the plant and surrounding environments.

Lab Technician 1 will be responsible for a variety of activities that support and provide technical assistance to Research and Development, Corporate Plants, and Corporate Quality Assurance. Perform routine testing on all Liquid and Solid samples provided to the lab from Plants, QA, and R&D, including company samples and competitor samples as provided by Marketing and Sales.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Perform all analytical tests to properly evaluate each product provided to the laboratory. Testing to include, but is not limited to Fat, Moisture, Calcium, Salt, Protein.
- Sample and provide assistance to have samples tested, when required, at an outside lab for chemistry and microbiology. Provide all analytical data results to Lab Manager and or/Project Manager in an organized and clear format. Carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning of analytical equipment and laboratory area. Monitor chemical reagents and notify Lab Manager when supplies are running low.
- Work closely with laboratory staff.
- Provide technical assistance as needed for Aware of and practice Plant's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as Good Sanitation Practices (GSP).

Catholic Health, an integrated health system in Buffalo, New York, announces an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished nurse leader to serve as its Senior Vice President, Quality and Safety.
Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer, the SVP Quality and Safety is responsible for the overall management of an experienced broad-based team charged with monitoring, reporting, educating and inspiring devotion to excelling in internal and external quality metrics for the entire enterprise with the goal of attaining and sustaining top decile performance. The SVP serves as the system liaison and senior executive for all Quality and Patient Safety collaborative initiatives with the acute care hospitals, service lines, continuing care division and homecare ministries to promote integration and alignment in an effort to improve the quality and safety outcomes across the continuum, thereby improving the patient's overall experience.
The SVP will provide leadership and guidance for the executive leaders' education and development and lead the efforts for quality improvement education, training and coaching of all Catholic Health staff. The SVP will be responsible for establishing a strategic framework for achieving the institution's goals with relation to medical care quality, education quality, research quality and patient safety. Additionally, the SVP will play a critical role in system and Catholic Medical Partners initiatives regarding population health management, quality improvement, clinical practice standardization. The Ideal Candidate:
- A master's degree with clinical major required.
- Current registration with the New York State Education Department as a Registered Professional Nurse or ability to quickly obtain will be required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive quality and safety management experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in an academic medical center and/or progressive health system of significant size and complexity preferred.
- Experience establishing and monitoring appropriate process and outcome measures for key initiatives using a systems perspective; evaluating the processes by which clinical care and patient services are delivered.

Compensation Range: The base salary range for this position is $275,000 to $300,000 annually. Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Tank Room Operator Trainee based in Buffalo, NY.
Summary:
Responsible for the proper maintenance and sanitization of all silos, milk lines, cream lines, blend lines, whey lines, separators and cream tanks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Manually disassembles and cleans samplers, activators and valves.
- Checks and replaces worn gaskets and o-rings.
- Replaces QMI samplers when needed, not less than once per week.
- Ensures silo's are inspected and initialed before reassembling. Check titrations document.
- Empties and washes silos every 72 hours.
- Cleans whey separators with a wash daily.
- Assures whey and cream samples are at the laboratory as scheduled every two hours.
- Cleans all milk, cream, whey, and blend lines at the end of each day.
- Checks with Supervisor for silo rotation for pasteurization.
- Maintains tank room ensuring cleanliness. Hoses rolled up, sanitizes pipes and ports capped.

Key responsibilities for this position include: Other duties may be assigned.
Summary: Responsible for operation and maintenance of the bulk filler machine system.
1. Perform pre-shift operational inspection to determine condition of filling machine.
2. Sets up filling machine and related equipment for product to be run.
3. Monitors filling machine during line operation to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
4. Troubleshoots and resolve operational /mechanical problems in a timely basis to ensure an efficient, smooth flow of product.
5. Monitors package seal impressions, integrity, and product giveaway.
6. Changes film in a timely manner to fashion to ensure a continuous, efficient flow of product.
7. Perform product changeover(s) as needed.
8. Performs preventative maintenance on a daily/weekly schedule as required.
9. Maintains an open line of communication with production palletizer, and lead person/supervisor.
10. Perform proper sanitation of the filler before introducing the product.
11. Continuously monitors for abnormalities or inconsistencies in the texture, shape, color, odor or foreign material in or on the product.
12. Continuously monitors for proper code date, lot number and operator code product to be packaged.
13. Familiarizes self with all standard operating procedures.
14. Continuously monitors for proper product temperature during filling.
15. Continuously monitors the cup wash, ensures that it is on and working correctly.
16. Continuously monitors the cooling spirals and investigates any problems.
17. Keeps work area neat and clean at all times.

Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Supervisor/Maintenance based in Buffalo, New York.Shifts available: 1st, 2nd or 3rdSummary: Responsible for daily Production & Packaging Maintenance functions in support of the Plant including coordination and activities of all mechanics. This includes, but is not limited to, production/packaging areas and related equipment, warehouse areas, office areas, and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Familiar with the manufacturing operation, equipment and support systems of the company and will set up
systems to respond to maintenance concerns regarding them.
2. Cooperate with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
3. Reviews technical problems and procedures of departments and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
4. Responsible for setting up and managing systems for preventative maintenance for the manufacturing
operation.
5. Recruits and develops staff to provide the necessary skills to support the maintenance responsibilities for
the plant.
6. Continues to access skill levels and recommends developmental activities as appropriate.
7. Assesses systems for re-engineering or troubleshooting at both hands-on levels and engineering levels.
8. Participates actively as a member of plant management team. Provides necessary support for the other plant functions/activities as determined by the Assistant Maintenance Manager.
9. Continually evaluates the capabilities of the packaging & production Maintenance department relating to equipment, tools and other items necessary to provide a satisfactory level of service to the plant.
10. Recommend upgrades as appropriate.
11. Exercises project management responsibilities including coordination of contractor activities, communication to/among participants, budgeting and reporting if project has been delegated to them.
12. Continually analyzes spending with the Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer. Ensure proper documentation is provided for justification.
13. Promotes employee relations within the department.
14. Proactively communicates and responds to employee questions and concerns.
15. Develop a variety of systems and methods to measure effectiveness of effort.
16. Continuously seeks new ways of improving performance and controlling costs.
17. Reports problems and/or concerns to the Assistant Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Manager, and/or Plant Engineer.
18. Plans and schedules manpower consistent with production requirements. Continuously evaluates manpower to attempt to reduce labor costs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Technical degree in Technical/Engineering discipline preferred.
* Dairy or other food related experience preferred.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in work required.
* Personal qualities of tact, dependability, and ability to work well with others required.
* Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
* Knowledge of computer software.
* Ability to administrate Maintenance Department projects and run projects effectively with attention to budget and scope as assigned by Maintenance Management.
* Ability to assist Maintenance Manager/Assistant Manager in adherence to department budget issues.

Qualifications:
1.\tExperienced forklift operation knowledge, perishable and dry goods warehouse experience preferred. 2.\tDocuments safety checks on tow motor prior to use.3.\tEnsures accurate documentation of all inbound paperwork.4.\tCompletes activity movement sheets daily.5.\tRotates stock in a FIFO format.6.\tSelects the proper product for production needs.7.\tMaintains a clean work environment daily.8.\tMaintains and operates the RF terminals daily. 9.\tPerforms monthly physical inventories as designated by the corporate staff, and performs cycle counts with the department manager.10.\tWorks closely with the production and packaging departments. 11.\tMaintains open communication between fellow workers. 12.\tStrong communication abilities, written and verbal. 13.\tKnowledge of computer software, inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats preferred. 14.\tAS400 Prism knowledge a plus.
