POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for leading the development and management of stroke data for University Hospital.
Performs data collection, analysis and reporting of stroke data compliance with Joint Commission Stroke standards to maintain designation as a Certified Stroke Center.
Collaborates with hospital Stroke Medical Directors, Stroke Coordinator, and Ancillary Program Leadership to advance data collection and develop plans to address variances.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Graduation from accredited school of professional nursing is required.
Must have at least three years of hospital or clinic based experience.
Experience with reporting and analyzing clinical documentation for the Joint Commission accreditation for stroke programs highly preferred.
Work experience with the operation of personal computers and Microsoft Office software is expected.

Responsibilities: The Maintenance Mechanic tends to production machines such as filler, packaging, cappers, labeler, and palletizers used for bottling water.
This position will perform trouble shooting and repairs to equipment as needed.
Essential Job Duties: Operates all production machinery in accordance with attached specifications Operates all blow mold machinery in accordance with attached specifications Carries a radio at all times while on shift to be fully accessible to team Carries a tool bag with all required tools at all times while on shift Leads team in changeover processes Leads team in preventative maintenance process Performs basic cleaning of machinery Proficient in blow mold operations Performs all repair tasks and troubleshooting necessary to keep bottling lines operating efficiently Ability to rotate as needed Assist in training of new employees Ensures through constant observation and routine inspections that high quality product is being produced Ensures that proper GMP rules and cleanliness is being administered throughout production processes Reports all emergencies, injuries, and production incidents immediately to shift supervisor Why work with us? Under general supervision, the Clinical Transplant Coordinator I will use clinical management, consultation, education and research to promote quality care for the specific transplant patient populations. Supports and maintains the University Health System's policies, protocols, values and guest relations. Directly accountable to the Director and the Supervisor, Clinical Transplant Nurse. May direct activities and services provided by personnel in assigned area, such as Licensed Vocational Nurses, non-licensed nursing and secretarial support staff.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an RN and one year of nursing experience required. Will develop a plan to attain a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Knowledge of transplant, health care trends, community and regional resources. An ability to establish cooperative working relationships with diverse groups and individuals, medical staff and other health care disciplines and understanding of the consultative process.
LICENSURE
Current RN licensure in the State of Texas. Current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider certification required. Attain CITI research certification within six months from date of hire. (CITI certification is not required for coordinators in lung transplant, post-transplant, live donor transplant or disease management nurses).
