The Outside Sales Rep (Valve & Hydrant Services) will be responsible for maximizing the financial performance of their territory by expanding the sales of Xylem’s Wachs Water Services capabilities for single and multi-year projects. In this role, the incumbent will drive differentiated customer experiences and utilize service knowledge to address customer’s water distribution and asset management needs . The role will combine market intelligence, data-driven insights and a deep understanding of customer needs to identify trends, “white space” opportunities, and develop areas of competitive advantage to drive revenue growth. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Maximize the financial performance of the region by expanding the service contracts of Xylem’s Wachs Water Services capabilities.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Provide prompt and accurate responses to client inquiries and requests, and proactively identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to clients.
- Grow and maintain an effective sales pipeline utilizing .
- Establish new accounts while maintaining and increasing the sales volume of territory accounts and territories in compliance with all company policies, instructions, and directives. This includes aggressively soliciting orders through cold calling, developing marketing data leads, answering incoming requests and all other means possible.
- Apply application technologies to provide useful and practical service, and solutions to customers, while seeking new uses for company products.
- Work in conjunction with Marketing to drive bid reporting services and lead management in addition to build company image to drive new opportunities and brand recognition within the territory.
- Collaborate with different groups to design and execute strategies that generate demand and drive growth through customer acquisition, retention, and win-back.
- Create synergy opportunities for cross-business selling based on Xylem solution set awareness.
- Regularly gathers and analyzes business, market and competitor information and supports the development of the strategic marketing plan.
- Prepare and assist with various sales reports. This includes sales audits, bids, proposals, quotes, workload analysis, sales forecasts, territory potentials, call programs and routes, call reports and expense reports. Also submit any special reports regarding the operation of the territory, acceptance of services, or competitive conditions as may be required.
- Attend, participate and demonstrate thought leadership in sales meetings, training programs, sales blitzes, committee activities, conventions and trade shows as directed. Participate in other worthwhile community activities as public relations asset to the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with suppliers, outside contractors and stakeholders and recommend development of best practices to improve assembly/manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Impacts the achievement of part design related to design for assembly/manufacturing, error proofing, fixture design, and incorporating quality monitoring and improvement measures to drive results.

What You’ll Be Doing
Employment Law & Workforce Legal Support
- Provide legal counsel on a wide range of employment-related matters including employee relations, disciplinary actions, investigations, terminations, wage and hour compliance, and workplace policies.
- Advise Human Resources and leadership on multi-state employment law compliance, including federal, state, and local regulations such as FLSA, ADA, FMLA, Title VII, and other applicable labor and employment laws.
- Provide guidance on sensitive workplace matters including harassment complaints, internal investigations, employee disputes, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of employment policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is accountable for providing technical support for the assigned processes and equipment to operations. Ensure that processes and equipment meets expectations for performance and operational requirements. Validates that processes meet operational requirements and goals.
Responsibilities
- Be actively engaged with the manufacturing process and operations teams. Participate in the Daily Tier accountability meetings.
- Troubleshoot production process/technical problems in real time to deploy countermeasures. Work closely with the shift supervisor/s, other ME, IE, Lean Expert, Design, R&D, facilities/maintenance, and quality team members to gain cross functional feedback.
- Provide day-to-day technical floor support as a SME (Subject Matter Expert). Investigate and resolve issues which arise during the manufacturing while maintaining or exceeding safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals.
- Utilize various RCA (Root Cause Analysis) tools to correct the problems and prevent it from re-occurring. Analyze data to improve process capability, reduce process variation, and optimize process performance.
- Develop processes to improve the throughput using lean manufacturing methodologies. Lead continuous improvement projects in assigned process areas to reduce waste/scrap and cycle times.
- Design and construct tooling/fixtures for processes or modify existing production equipment as needed. Identify and develop relationship with external suppliers (tool and die shops) to upgrade tooling and fixtures.
- Select and integrate off-the-shelf component and equipment. Able to confirm system's and components' capabilities by designing test methods and procedures. Understanding of the hardware and physical system being controlled is necessary.
- Lead the project implementation by reviewing installation plans, coordinating start-ups, documenting changes, updating procedures, and training operators. Maintain project documentation and assist in creating Operation Manuals
- Assist in product design, material selections, and tooling reviews. Capability to select and integrate off-the-shelf component and equipment. Ownership of the Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for assigned processes.
- Develop standardized Work Instructions and/or procedures for the assigned areas. Lead train the trainer sessions for assigned areas. Ensures production team knows about the proper operation of equipment through training, verification and process audits.
