We are currently seeking a skilled Advanced Drafter / Design Technician to join our team at our Colton, CA location. This position plays a key role in supporting our engineering, fabrication, and sales teams by producing accurate technical drawings, assisting with product development, and supporting manufacturing processes.

Position Responsibilities

· Create accurate AutoCAD drawings and layouts from sketches, parts, assemblies, and machinery.

· Reverse engineer components and assemblies by measuring physical parts and translating them into detailed CAD drawings.

· Generate manufacturing drawings and documentation to support fabrication and production.

· Work closely with Sales, Drafting, and Fabrication departments to clarify design requirements and resolve technical questions.

· Assist in identifying design improvements, revisions, or modifications during the fabrication process.

· Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control, and documentation standards.

· Manage workload and prioritize assignments effectively to support production timelines.

· Take initiative to identify potential issues, inconsistencies, or improvements in drawings and designs before they impact production.

Qualifications

· 2–3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience (or equivalent CAD software experience).

· Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

· Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

· Highly accurate and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to producing precise and reliable drawings.

· Self-motivated and self-directed, capable of working independently while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

· Proactive problem solver and self-starter who takes ownership of projects and follows tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Fits, measures and performs all other necessary alterations to Enterprise issued wardrobe.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs uniform sewing, alternations, and embellishments with accuracy and efficiency to include taking up stride, lengthening/shortening tails on shirts, tapering shirts, adjusting waists, hemming trousers, mending tears, replacing zippers, applying patches, applying name strips, applying striping and applying patches.
• Delivers outstanding customer service by demonstrating a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship involved in achieving a precise uniform fit. Accurately takes measurements and marks garments for alterations, applying problem-solving skills to address individual sizing challenges.
• Operates industrial sewing equipment efficiently, adhering to established processes and procedures to meet both departmental objectives and individual productivity targets. Supports seasonal demands by contributing to the mass production of accessories as needed.
• Measures customer for size, using tape measure, tailors chalk, pins and records measurements and modifications into garment tracked computerized software system.
• Communicates supply needs to management, ensures supplies are available at all times. Maintains equipment and report damage or broken equipment immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
• Minimum two (2) years of related experience and/or training in a retail, department store and/or a uniform company supplying tailored garments required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

• Intermediate level of sewing using industrial sewing machine, serger, iron and blind hemmer or equivalent experience required.

The Opportunity 

• Graduates from our Emergency Psychiatry Fellowship will become pioneers in a unique and emerging specialty that will transform how Emergency Departments treat psychiatric patients. 
• The successful fellow will receive training by nationally recognized experts in the field of Emergency Psychiatry.
• Training will focus on the assessment, management, and disposition of emergency psychiatric patients through hands-on experience in both the medical ED and various acute psychiatric settings.
• Fellows will gain experience as a physician leader of an inter-disciplinary team to shape improvements in the system-based delivery of emergency psychiatric care.
• The fellow will also gain critical knowledge of diagnosing and managing acute medical conditions that can often exacerbate psychiatric conditions.
• This one-year fellowship opportunity is available to psychiatry and emergency medicine residents graduating in good standing from ACGME accredited residency programs and after completion of the equivalent of 4 years of a residency in psychiatry.
• Current CA state license a plus. 

The Practice

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center – Colton, California

• An academic teaching hospital with both an established in-house EM Residency Program and an established in-house EMPA training program.
• EM Residency Program began as an AOA program in 2004 and received ACGME initial accreditation in September 2017. Continued accreditation was granted January 2020.
• EM residency has 32 residents; large number of residents are from a variety of services/programs, medical students and PA fellows/students.
• 8 ACGME accredited residency programs: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, OB, Psychiatry, Surgery, Radiology and Neurology.
• 4 ACGME accredited fellowships: EMS, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Pulmonary/Critical Care, and Surgical Critical Care.
• Graduate Medical Education has been an integral part of this hospital for the past 70 years.
• ARMC is a 456-bed university-based teaching hospital for the newly LCME accredited California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM).
• The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a 50-bed Emergency Department that sees 100,000+ annual ED patient visits and handles approximately 3,000 severely injured trauma patients each year.
• Soon to be Level I trauma center.
• Located on 70-acre campus and operates as a tri-regional burn center, primary stroke center, and behavioral health center.
• Numerous primary care centers are located throughout the County of San Bernardino as well as more than 40 outpatient specialty care centers.
• Backup specialties include neurosurgeons, surgeons, neonatologists, and more with 24/7 on-site coverage.
• Vituity also staffs the neurology group and scribe program – providing care across the continuum to deliver a coordinated acute care experience for every patient.
• The Emergency Department has several new Mindray TE7’s, 2 Sonosite Xporte’s, 1 Sonosite Edge, a TEE probe, and QpathE. Heartworks is being purchased soon.
