- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to Telemetry and Med/Surg units as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AR or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Minimum 2 years of recent stepdown/PCU experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Valid US driver's license required
- US Social Security Number required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Responsible for shift-level accountability for patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery
- Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel
- Gray scrubs required
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
