Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Logistics Specialist to support our operations team through data analysis, reporting, and system management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying trends, and helping improve operational performance through accurate reporting and insights. The Entry Level Logistics Specialist will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, supporting shipment visibility, and helping operations teams make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, maintain, and analyze logistics and shipment data across internal systems
- Monitor operational metrics and generate reports related to shipment performance, delivery timelines, and service levels
- Support the operations team by identifying data trends, discrepancies, or potential efficiency improvements
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update logistics platforms as needed
- Assist with data validation and quality control to ensure reporting accuracy
- Create and maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, and operational reports
- Collaborate with operations, technology, and analytics teams to improve data processes and workflows
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree – required
- Bachelor’s Degree - preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in Microsoft Suite (specifically Excel)
- Interest in logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations
